ONLYOFFICE DocSpace, an open-source room-based platform for document collaboration, is now available for installation on your private server, meaning that your can get full control over your data. It is already available for Linux server installation, and will soon be released in other packages.
About ONLYOFFICE DocSpace
ONLYOFFICE DocSpace is a collaborative cloud platform that allows users to edit and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and forms in customizable rooms.
Built-in ONLYOFFICE Docs suite offers professional editing tools together with real-time document editing, chat features, audio/video calls via Jitsi and Zoom, and and all essential collaboration features. The platform supports various file formats, including Word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, and multimedia.
Collaboration is organized inside rooms, where various levels of access rights can be granted to users to streamline the collaboration process, with roles including room managers, power users, editors, viewers, commenters, reviewers, and form fillers. Easy sharing and inviting is provided for comfortable work within and outside the team.
Security features include encryption, activity tracking, IP restrictions, SSO and more. Users can customize the look and feel of DocSpace, apply their own branding and customization, and do much more in settings.

System requirements
- CPU: at least 4-core (6-core recommended)
- RAM: at least 8 GB (12 GB recommended)
- HDD: at least 40 GB of free space
- At least 6 GB of swap
Installation
Download the Docker script file:
wget http://download.onlyoffice.com/docspace/docspace-install.sh
Install ONLYOFFICE DocSpace from the DEB/RPM package:
bash docspace-install.sh package
Or using script for Docker:
bash docspace-install.sh docker
