Many projects run into avoidable delays simply because developers spend hours hunting for pin definitions, interface details, or obscure configuration flags. In this article, we explore how documentation makes or breaks embedded display & embedded HMI projects—and how a structured approach to sharing configuration knowledge can dramatically reduce your time to market.


The Cost of Poor Documentation

In embedded development, mistakes are expensive—not just financially but in terms of time and product reliability. When documentation is missing or vague, teams often face:

  • Ambiguity about the interface type (e.g., is the display MIPI or LVDS?)

With tested Device Tree files and known-good wiring guides, the process shrinks to just days.
