Last December, I went to New York City with my girlfriend.
I am a software developer and she is a dietitian.
It was my first trip to the United States of America, I have always been in love with New York City and the American dream, so I was very excited.
We landed at JFK airport and then using the subway we went to our hotel in downtown Manhattan.
When we completed check-in I checked my hotel card to see our room number, and it was 404.
I was very scared, to the point where I said to my girlfriend:
‘Please don’t leave me alone, or you will never find me again’.
She was silent, for a few minutes, which seemed endless.
I literally burst out laughing, though, shortly after.
Unfortunately, she can’t understand the joke, because she doesn’t know that 404 is the error code of ‘PAGE NOT FOUND’.
