I built a focus app with no AI and a simple idea: repetition builds focus

Most productivity apps today are getting more complex.

Super Brain isn’t.

It doesn’t use AI.

What Super Brain actually is

Super Brain is a structured focus app.

You use it in short, repeated focus sessions:

The idea behind it

The goal is simple:

Super Brain’s been free for 5 months.

It was supposed to be a 1‑week beta — and then I just kept it open because I wanted people to actually use it.

You pushed it, broke it, and pointed out everything that needed fixing. That’s why it’s solid right now.

Brain.fm was $7/month. I didn't have $7/month, and I needed to focus.

So I figured out how focus audio actually works — neuroplasticity, frequency entrainment, the real science behind it — and built my own version. I tested it on 50+ students. Teachers started using it during exams, and I still use it.

I fixed Super Brain based on info from analytics

A few weeks ago, I posted about Super Brain. It's a free focus audio app I built at 14 because I couldn't afford Brain.fm.
I found that from analytics, the first 30 seconds were confusing.

So here's what I fixed:

The first thing you see is now the timer and a play button. 3 seconds in, you know exactly what to do. Before that, it wasn't obvious at all.

The volume slider was getting cut off on mobile. It was a viewport bug — the app used vh, which doesn't account for browser bars on mobile. Switched to dvh. Everything fits now.

Super Brain is in free beta, just open it and focus.
