Brain.fm was $7/month. I didn't have $7/month, and I needed to focus.

So I figured out how focus audio actually works — neuroplasticity, frequency entrainment, the real science behind it — and built my own version. I tested it on 50+ students. Teachers started using it during exams, and I still use it.

It's called Super Brain. It's in free beta. You just open it, pick a duration, and press play.

I never really meant to launch a product. I just made a thing that worked, and then other people needed it too.

I fixed Super Brain based on info from analytics

A few weeks ago, I posted about Super Brain. It's a free focus audio app I built at 14 because I couldn't afford Brain.fm.
I found that from analytics, the first 30 seconds were confusing.

So here's what I fixed:

The first thing you see is now the timer and a play button. 3 seconds in, you know exactly what to do. Before that, it wasn't obvious at all.

The volume slider was getting cut off on mobile. It was a viewport bug — the app used vh, which doesn't account for browser bars on mobile. Switched to dvh. Everything fits now.

Super Brain is in free beta, just open it and focus.

Most people leave in under a minute.
