I built my first portfolio as a junior dev — here's what went into it

After weeks of building and tweaking, I finally launched my portfolio.
This post is about what I built and why.

 My Portfolio

My goal was to keep it simple. I want my work to speak for itself.
I'd be proud to send this to employers.

 What's Inside

Product Landing Page
A landing page for ARCYN RE1GNS, a basketball shoe brand. This was my first project. I focused on layout and clean HTML/CSS.

Personal Blog
I write about what I learn. It helps me grow as a developer.

Pump & Iron — Full-Stack Gym Management App
I'm proud of this one. It's a gym management app with different experiences for guests, members, and admins. I built it with React, Firebase, Tailwind CSS, and React Router.

 Where I'm At

I'm good with HTML, CSS, and making websites work on all devices. I'm learning JavaScript. My goal is to get a junior web developer job.

 The Question

Does my portfolio look good enough for a job? Is there anything missing or that would hold me back? I'd rather hear the truth now than after a string of rejections.

Please give me feedback — drop it in the comments!

Beginner Project Feedback Request: QR Code Generator

Beginner Project Feedback Request: QR Code Generator

Hey everyone,

I'm a beginner in frontend web development and recently finished a small project — a QR Code Generator built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You can check it out here:

Live site: https://pradhansushil.github.io/qr-generator/

GitHub repo: https://github.com/pradhansushil/qr-generator

I originally shared it on daily.dev, but it’s been about 48 hours with no feedback, so I thought I’d try sharing here as well.

I'm considering adding this to my portfolio, but I’d love to get some honest feedback — especially on:

Code quality

Design/usability

Responsiveness

Suggestions for improvements or features

Note: To use the QR generator, select a QR type from the dropdown, fill in the fields, then click “Generate” to create your QR code.

Any advice or constructive criticism is appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
