Hey fellow developers and learners! 👋

I want to share something that’s really close to my heart — a journey I’ve been on for quite some time now, one filled with challenges, late nights, endless debugging, and, most importantly, growth. If you're like me — someone who’s deeply passionate about web development and loves the idea of sharing that knowledge with the world — then I invite you to join me on my YouTube channel, HoverHacks. 🙌

Why HoverHacks? 💡

At HoverHacks, my goal is simple: to help you learn web development in the easiest and most accessible way possible. Whether you're new to frontend development or you're trying to polish your skills, I’m creating content that brings clarity to complex concepts.

But this journey isn’t just about teaching you. It’s about something deeper. I started this channel because I believe that knowledge is meant to be shared, and I want to contribute to a community that helped me when I was just starting out. Remember the countless times you Googled “how to center a div” or “how to use JavaScript fetch API”? I’ve been there, and it’s why I’m putting in the work to make learning easier for you.

What Can You Expect?

Clear and concise tutorials on essential topics like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and more.

Real-world projects that help you build a portfolio you can be proud of.

Practical tips to boost your frontend development skills, explained in a way that even beginners can follow.

A supportive community where you can ask questions and grow alongside fellow developers.

From the Heart ❤️

You see, HoverHacks isn’t just another tech channel. It’s my way of giving back. I remember how overwhelming it felt when I started my journey into coding, how some tutorials felt too complex or confusing. But every small win felt like a huge achievement. Now, I want to create those wins for you.

Every video I make is crafted with love and dedication, knowing that someone out there — maybe you — is looking for that "aha!" moment, where the pieces finally click together. I want to be the person that helps you reach that moment. 🌟

Why I Need Your Support 🙏

As a content creator, it’s always a bit daunting to ask for support. But honestly? I can’t do this alone. I need viewers like you — people who are passionate about learning and growing — to join me on this journey. Subscribing to HoverHacks means more than just growing my channel; it means being part of a community where we learn and build together.

So, if you find value in what I’m doing, it would mean the world if you could:

Subscribe to HoverHacks

Watch the videos, share them with your fellow coders, and drop a comment!

Ask questions — I’m here to help, and your feedback helps me create even better content.

Together, we can make learning web development an enjoyable and exciting experience. 🎉

Let’s Grow Together 🌱

HoverHacks isn’t just about tutorials. It’s about learning, growing, and celebrating the small wins that lead to bigger victories. Every view, every comment, every subscription is a step closer to building a community of developers who support one another.

I’ve poured my heart into this channel, and I believe we can create something amazing together. If you’re ready to take your frontend skills to the next level and be part of an encouraging and passionate community, hit that subscribe button on HoverHacks.

Let’s build, break, and learn together. Let’s make coding fun and fulfilling. I can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve. 🌟

If this resonated with you, please subscribe to HoverHacks, watch some of the videos, and don’t forget to share with others who might benefit. Let’s build something incredible, one line of code at a time.

Hello friends,

I'm working as frontend developer from last 2.5years, interested to get into ethical hacking but I have no idea where to get started with little research came to know about Penetration testing, which I thought would be best for me as I also have knowledge of frontend stuffs.

Currently I'm doing ZTM Web security & bug bounty course from Udemy but it's just 10hr & they had touched just basics of tools etc. It's good course but I'm in search of more in-depth knowledge of this field.

From carrer perspective I want to work as FrontEnd Developer only but I want to lean about Penetration testing to participate in bug bounty programs.

Any beginner courses or a roadmap some one can recommend to become a successful pen tester? Assuming I have no knowledge related of this field.

I wanted to get into web3 stuffs as Frontend Developer but have lot's of doubt, if some one having experience in this field can answer it?

What all I need to learn & any courses if some can suggest?

I already have working knowledge of React.js. How much time can it take to learn techs related to web3?

What are differences in salary for a web3 developer & normal frontend developer?

Any other suggestions which I need to know before getting started?

Will it be good idea to use Incremental Static Regeneration if data from backend is user specific?

I have a challenge page where in public view (No user is logged In) backend will send say list if [A,B,C] challenges.
While if user is logged in & he is admin then backend will send some additional challenges like [A,B,C, 1 ,2]. So in this case will it be good idea to use Incremental Static Regeneration? Or shall I only use GetServerSideProps?

I'm also using SWR in components & passing passing the values of GetServerSideProps as default value

Is this the correct way to use useSWR with getServerSideProps?

This is the code sandbox example of how I'm using SWR with getServerSideProps: https://codesandbox.io/s/useswr-with-getserversideprops-nextjs-9u1gp?file=/containers/PostContainer/index.js

github repo link
What I want to achieve is on the post/[post] page the meta tags will be dynamic coming from the backend & will be users specific that's why I'm using getServerSideProps instead of getStaticProps, the above code is working fine but when I see the terminal on clicking a post it's calling the API 3 times & when I again click the same post API is being called 2 times is this normal behaviour?

How do I handle auth in this case?

From the backend, I'm getting a URL for Google login which looks something like this:
clicking on this opens google login page & after login, it returns access_token.
I was thinking to use the NextAuth library for it https://next-auth.js.org/providers/google but it requires client_id & client_secret also which is not required in my case (it's being handled in the backend).
How do I handle this login using NextAuth or any other bettor method someone can suggest?

I recently switched company where they are using gitlab instead of github & I'm contributing to project with company's email id to gitlab.
Now in future when my work will be done I'll loose access to project & I think there will no way to see that I had contributed to some project.
And since I'm contributing in gitlab my github contribution chart started to show as blank.

So I there any way I can show contribution of gitlab on GitHub?

Or any other better idea?
