What I Learned From Hacktoberfest

Starting of October as a newbie I don't have any knowledge on Opensource , then I got know there is some fest called HacktoberFEST which is purely for open source contribution....

So I just googled and got too know what open source is
Open-source software is a type of computer software in which source code is released under a license in which the copyright holder grants users the rights to use, study, change, and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose.

hacktoberfest main goal is to contribute more to open source, although I saw so many repositories that doesn't comes under hacktoberfest policies. But I saw few repositories they are open for ideas and issues they were really facing.

The 4 pull requests which I have made

Fixing Their whole Project file(Documentation)
Adding few major sorting algorithms with their explanations
File Upload problem in JavaScript
Helped them to solve some Graph Problems

Although, there is much to learn for me but I am not stopping
by pulling 4 requests.

I am very happy that I am part of a major success stories...

When buying disk drives, 1 GB is regularly characterized as 1,000,000,000 bytes. Notwithstanding, when seen by a working OS, the limit showed is frequently not as much as this. For instance, another 1 TB hard drive would be accounted for by the OS as 931 GB (this is 931 GiB). GiB (Gibibytes) is a standard unit utilized in the field of information handling and transmission and is characterized as base 1024 as opposed to base 1000.

Example: 1 GB is defined as 1000³ bytes, whereas 1 GiB is defined as 1024³ bytes.

Units of Measure & Bytes

Kilobyte (KB) 1000¹ = 1,000
Megabyte (MB) 1000² = 1,000,000
Gigabyte (GB) 1000³ = 1,000,000,000
Terabyte (TB) 1000⁴ = 1,000,000,000,000
Petabyte (PB) 1000⁵ = 1,000,000,000,000,000
Kibibyte (KiB) 1024¹ = 1,024
Mebibyte (MiB) 1024² = 1,048,576
Gibibyte (GiB) 1024³ = 1,073,741,824
Tebibyte (TiB) 1024⁴ = 1,099,511,627,776

How is this converted?

GB to GiB

Multiply by (1000³ / 1024³), equivalent to 0.931323

Divide by this value to go from GiB to GB

TB to TiB

Multiply by (1000⁴ / 1024⁴), equivalent to 0.909495

Divide by this value to go from TiB to TB

GiB to TiB

Divide by 1024

Multiply by 1024 to go from TiB to GiB

GiB to TB

Convert into GB by dividing by 0.931323, then divide by 1000 to get into TB

Hello Reader's I know this Post is very small and most of the people knew it, but i am new to the dev.to & this is my first Post so let's dive into the hack :)

This is For Windows User's only !!!

Windows User's when working with CMD or PowerShell they need to remember the path of the projectFolder or directory name or path name where the files are located.

Most developers use CD(change directory ) command to shift to the particular folder & some guys prefer copy the path name and pasting it in the terminal Window. So this post is for you guys.

CMD app / PowerShell app
