Why be a developer now?

When I had graduated in 2016, Software Development was at its peak so they said. And when go get placed there then you know you are a debugger.

You don't get to write code or touch the main code or even understand anything. As the resources were scarce all you can do is find a snippet on google from stack-overflow, Understand and try debugging just the syntax. You think thats victory? Its just a branch of technology in enterprise models, where you are branching off into one of its inner tech like frontend, backend or the middle if there is one. Then you get even more branched where you see only the companies modules, trying to understand the tree is impossible. " Phew. Fellow debugger tried to grow out, but meh he couldn't"

Now in 2026. nearly a decade later, there are generalised code all over the internet you can do anything, debugging is not a thing but a fraction of AI's capability. But the catch is developers are opened to a whole new world, where Understanding a language is more like knowing Tamil and also knowing Telugu because you know Tamil. You get me? when you get the code ready made its easy to understand anything, you just have to read the code in a more natural way of the language. So python, javascript all the name.

Developers boon, In this new world, you can create applications faster than you can search for it in the internet. Its like you can cook all of sudden.

The other day I wanted to "find an app for colour code picker from any pixel on the screen", for designing, the time it took for me to analyse and find the best tool was much greater than it took to open a so called code assistant and type the same, only now to use "build an app" instead of "find an app"

So do not hesitate go out there get cooking with your Ideas, this is the best time and everything is out there for free! The tool that you wanted to have for yourself but never were able to find it in the internet.

With all this power what can you do? Become "John O Connor" or "Vashigaran ?"

To a human, 2000 is round. To a developer, 2048 is always around.

Have you ever wondered to ask a computer would you like 2? if you ask it, it would compute in 2s to check if 2 has ever made its life easier!

In the world of numbers that obey the binary law, 2 is the root of all evil that decides between 0s and 1s.
To a developer the number numerology is different, they see practically of number 2s a lot, making them feel complete to choose them over odds and 11 subconsciously.

"While you might oddly think not, which can always count as even, if you are !(developer) !"

A safe spot for eyes while you linger in thoughts!

Being a
Developer
in 2025, it's simple. You would have to understand everything that happens in your computer.

From the moment your compute starts compute for you. The way everything boots to when you are soaring through applications pushing limits. You just need to know whats happening.

Mactop is one of the TOP(Table of processes) packages that I have chosen to settle with using homebrew.

Brew install mactop
sudo mactop

that all you ever need to do to install it and have it running on a small window, its a nice place to keep your eyes on when you are on a thinking spree, when you are on a place stuck, the numbers just talk to you help you stay attached to the spirit of the compute.
