I'm trying my best to get back into writing, but I've been making YouTube Videos too. So if you prefer to watch rather than read it here's a link to the Channel.

Long story short, I accomplished my biggest goal. Making money off my software. Not only did I make 6 dollars this, my app charted, my first Product Hunt launch was a success, and my social media presence has been growing. Now the goal is to try and make $1,000 this year from my new app idea MoFoods. For me it's easier to make a video than write so I'll be posting a lot on YouTube. I think I'm getting the hang of it 😎

I'm going to be launching on Monday, June 10th. What exactly am I launching though? It's me! I'm launching myself. This summer and for the rest of the year, I am going to be developing myself and growing my skills. I'm starting a new job, joining Buildspace's Nights and Weekends Season 5, shipping more projects/products, writing more, creating YouTube content, and much more.

The same day as WWDC24 is the day I chose to be my launch date. It's also the day I start my new engineering role and Buildspace begins announcing Season 5 participants. It's the perfect day to begin this new adventure I'm starting. Starting Monday, June 10th, I will be launching an app every Monday. I've got about six already made and scheduled to be released. Along with that, every month, I will release an article on Medium. All this is just until August and the end of Nights and Weekends.

But that's not the end of the journey—it's just the beginning. Beyond August, I have plans to continue this momentum by diving deeper into my projects, exploring new technologies, and expanding my horizons. I'll be sharing my experiences, challenges, and victories along the way, so you can expect regular updates, tutorials, and insights into what I'm working on.

I want to take you on this journey with me. Whether you're interested in tech, personal growth, or just curious about what I'm up to, there's something here for everyone. Another update.

I got to keep building. Ship more.

Another app completed. The idea is to build a variety of different apps using different skills that will help me build MoFoods. I'm learning a lot and the speed at which I'm able to build a basic MVP of my ideas is getting better. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to work. I'm done with the days of spending time researching, designing, etc. I'm spending way too much time thinking of great ideas instead just building. I wasted a lot of time doing that when I was studying CS. Now I'm going to make up for lost time by shipping more.

OpenAI just announced ChatGPT 4o and it's insane. It was also recently announced that Apple and OpenAI have agreed on a partnership to use the AI model in their devices. This is exciting news because now I'm wondering what Apple is going to share at WWDC24. The only thing I'm thinking about is combining the Vision Pro with ChatGPT 4o. So I'm rushing to get all these ideas in my head out so I can shift gears to what I think is dope idea for the Vision Pro. I'll let you know once I'm ready. 😉

2024 is already a huge year for AI compared to the insane hype of 2023. With all the use cases of chatGPT and developers seemingly getting their ideas replaced on Product Hunt by it it's making me wonder, what do you build during times like this?

I'm writing this as I just completed my 5th iOS app this year. Since January I've been getting back into iOS development and the plan is to build all version 1.0s of my ideas this year. Meaning, that what I launch on the web or the App Store and Google Play Store is a limited version of my app ideas. Depending on the traction and feedback I get I'll circle back around to add additional features.

The fifth app I'm getting ready to submit to the App Store for review is called OkayMo - a to-do list app that gives you only 24 hours to complete a task. It's basic, but that's the point. To just get everything in my head out there and in the hands of real people. I'm done building a portfolio of side projects. It's time to build products, it's time to get off localhost!

Along with shipping more, I'm looking to make my first dollar from software. Something I've never done before. MoFoods is the next big app that I'm hoping will bring in recurring revenue. It's been hard, fun, frustrating, and exciting putting my work out there. Especially, when people message me telling me they're using my stuff.

As I wrap things up I'm already planning the next one. If things go well I'll have a handful of apps to release just in time for Apple's WWDC24 event. While I am making progress I don't feel like I'm going hard enough. Just have to keep building and shipping more.
