Hey everyone,

I've been working as a dev for years, and I noticed something specific about our job: "Dev Syndrome." We sit for hours, shoulders rounded (tech neck), breathing shallowly, and basically depriving our brains of oxygen. Then we have to jump into a standup or a client call, and our voices sound weak and shaky because we haven't spoken in 8 hours.

I tried standard meditation apps, but the gongs, waterfalls, and "manifesting" mantras just didn't click with me. I wanted something functional. A tool to hack my nervous system, not a spiritual journey.

So, I built setState.

It's a breathwork app designed strictly for software engineers.

Zero Woo-Woo: No spiritual fluff. Just physiology and neuroscience.

The "Debugger": Uses the physiological sigh to mechanically pop you out of "fight or flight" (great for when prod is down).

The Standup Warm-up: A 3-minute sequence to clear your voice so you sound confident in daily scrums.

nullSafety: Alternate nostril breathing to balance logic/calm when you're overwhelmed.

Tech Neck Correction: Exercises to unroll that "coder's hunch."

It’s built with Flutter and follows a dark-mode, terminal-inspired aesthetic.

I’d love for you guys to roast my code... I mean, try the app and let me know if it helps with your focus or stress levels.

Download the App Now

Give you honest feedback, Thanks
