I used to believe something very simple.

If I learn enough, build enough projects, and keep improving…

I’ll get my place in tech.

That’s what we’re told, right?

Work hard. Stay consistent. Results will come.

But somewhere along the way, I noticed something that didn’t sit right.

Not Everyone Starts at the Same Line

In college, I saw people who were incredibly talented —

people who could build things I couldn’t even understand at that time.

And still… they hesitated.

Not because they lacked skills.

But because they lacked confidence to be seen.

Some thought:

“My English isn’t that good.”
“I’m not from a big college.”
“People like me don’t usually get these opportunities.”

And honestly… I’ve felt that too.

There were moments I questioned:

“Am I really good enough, or am I just trying?”

The Quiet Bias We Don’t Talk About

Nobody says it openly, but it’s there.

Sometimes people are judged before they even speak.

And the worst part?

You start judging yourself the same way.

You hold back.

You don’t apply.

You don’t share your work.

Not because you can’t…

But because you feel like you don’t belong.

The Thought That Changed Everything

One night, while thinking about all this, a simple idea came to me:

I imagined a platform where:

💡 The Story Behind It

The Problem: Agriculture is the backbone of the economy, yet farmers are often the last to receive the benefits of the AI revolution. Delayed advice and misidentified crop diseases lead to billions in losses annually.

The Mission: I built KissanConnect to remove the "middleman" from information. By putting AI directly in the farmer’s hands, we reduce uncertainty and turn reactive farming into proactive farming.

Started with a base Uno template and structured the main layout with Grid and StackPanel.

What I Built

I built a conceptual "Nexus Graph Application" 🌐, a web-based tool designed to help users manage and visualize a knowledge graph. This application aims to solve the problem of making unstructured data more meaningful and accessible by automatically extracting relationships and entities from documents. The application is built using React and Vite, with a rich user interface powered by KendoReact UI components

Document Ingestion: The "Upload Documents" view provides a clean interface for users to submit new documents. The application's backend (conceptualized but not built) would then process these documents.

Graph Visualization: The core of the application is the "Graph View." Here, the processed data is transformed into an interactive knowledge graph, allowing users to see and explore the connections between different entities and concepts.

Document Management: The "Document List" view provides a structured data grid, allowing users to see a list of all uploaded documents, along with relevant metadata like file name and size. This offers a more traditional way to manage the data in the system.

It uses Google's multimodal AI to analyze an image of the problem area, identify the key objects, and provide a clear, step-by-step guide to organize the space. The app provides practical, actionable advice with a focus on simple, everyday solutions.

How I Used Google AI Studio

I leveraged the Gemini 2.5 Pro model to create this solution. Its multimodal capabilities were essential for the core functionality of the applet. I used its ability to:

Understand and interpret images: The model analyzes the uploaded photo to identify objects like cables, devices, power strips, and any other relevant items on the desk. This visual understanding is the foundation of the app.

Reason about spatial relationships: The AI can recognize the "tangled" nature of the cables and their relationship to the desk and other objects, allowing it to accurately diagnose the problem and suggest appropriate solutions.

Generate a structured, helpful response: Based on its visual analysis, the model generates a numbered list of instructions, a key component of the user experience.

Multimodal Features

The primary multimodal feature is the applet's ability to receive an image as a prompt and generate a text-based, actionable response. This goes beyond simple image recognition; the AI is performing a visual analysis to understand a user's problem and then providing a practical, text-based solution. This enhances the user experience by making troubleshooting immediate and highly personalized. Instead of searching for a generic "how-to" guide, the user gets a custom solution for their specific mess, complete with annotations and suggestions tailored to the objects in their photo.
