I'm starting this blog as a way to motivate myself to pursue a personal project. In this world full of distractions, I feel the need to learn and create something, just like I used to do when I was younger.

Surely, I had more time back then than I do now, with a full-time job and a family to take care of. But I hate that feeling at the end of the day of having done nothing beyond your obligations — like learning a new programming language, reading that book, and so on.

I want to get rid of those annoying distractions and create something in the meantime.

Recently, a lot of Rust videos on YouTube have reminded me how beautiful some languages are — without so many libraries, complex frameworks, or even SaaS.

So I decided to start learning (again) C and Raylib, and to create a small personal project: a paint program with features for pixel art. I’ll use this blog as a reminder of this project and to track when I last worked on it.
