NotionClip AI — A Chrome Extension That Saves Webpages to Notion with AI Summaries

We read a lot on the internet every day tutorials, documentation, blog posts, guides, and useful resources. But keeping track of all that information can be difficult. Links get lost in bookmarks, tabs stay open for days, and useful content becomes hard to find again later.

To help solve this problem, I built NotionClip AI.

What the Tool Does

NotionClip AI is a browser extension that lets you save any webpage directly to a Notion database with a single click.

When you find something useful online, simply click the extension. The tool captures the main content of the page and processes it using AI to generate a short summary and highlight the key insights.

After processing, the information is saved to your connected Notion database along with the original source link.

Each saved entry includes:

A short summary of the page
Key insights from the content
Notable quotes
Suggested action steps
The original source link

The system also automatically adds tags and categories so everything stays organized and easy to find later.

Dashboard

The dashboard allows you to browse and manage all saved clips in one place. Each entry shows the AI-generated summary, tags, and a direct link to open the page in Notion. This makes it easy to revisit useful information whenever you need it.

The goal of NotionClip AI is simple: help people capture useful knowledge from the web and keep it organized in one place.

From Zero Coding Knowledge to Full-Stack Developer

When I started my academic journey, I had no knowledge of coding. I was an FSC Pre-Engineering student, and computers were not my main field. However, I always had curiosity about technology.

I first bought a computer when I was in 8th class. That was my first real interaction with technology. During that time, I also completed my first training in Basic IT Literacy from Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC). That training gave me basic confidence in using computers.

Later, when the time came to choose my career path, the world was facing the COVID-19 pandemic, and everything moved online. During that period, I decided to take admission in BS Software Engineering (BSSE).

The Difficult Beginning

The first and second semesters were very difficult for me. Many of my classmates had strong computer backgrounds, but I came from a Pre-Engineering background, so understanding programming concepts was challenging.

Sometimes I felt confused and slow compared to others, but I never gave up.

Buying My First Laptop

In my third semester, I bought my first laptop. That moment changed everything.

I started learning web development from scratch. I spent many hours watching tutorials on YouTube, practicing small projects, and trying to understand how websites work.

Slowly, things started to make sense.

My First Internship

In my 5th semester, I got my first internship at Xpert Tech as a Full-Stack Web Developer. This was my first experience working on real-world projects. During this internship, I learned many important technologies:

Working on real projects helped me understand how development works in the professional world.

My First Job

After my internship, I started searching for a job while still being a student. I wanted to gain more experience and support myself. I got my first job at ArtComplex Company. It was a client-based project, and they hired me for 4 hours daily.

I worked hard and delivered quality work. The client was happy with my performance, and I started working on multiple projects with them.

Learning the MERN Stack

Technology changes very fast, so I knew I had to keep learning.

I joined a weekend MERN Stack course at Mercury Incubation Center. During the course, I worked on a final project and gave it my best effort.

In the end, I achieved something special.

🏆 I got first position in the course.

Because of my performance, I became part of the Mercury Sols team, where I am now working as a Full-Stack Developer.

This 4 years journey was not easy. There were many challenges, confusion, and moments of self-doubt.

But one thing helped me move forward:

I stayed positive and kept struggling continuously.

From a student with zero coding knowledge to working as a Full-Stack Developer, it has been a 4-year journey of learning, persistence, and growth.

I still want to learn new technologies, build better projects, and grow as a developer.

Because in development, learning never stops.
