BotKube is an open-source super bot for your Kubernetes cluster.

It can be integrated with multiple messaging platforms like - Slack, Mattermost, Microsoft Teams to help you monitor your Kubernetes cluster(s), debug critical deployments, and gives recommendations for standard practices by running checks on the Kubernetes resources.

Learn more at botkube.io

Hacktoberfest is just around the corner and BotKube is all set with the preparations this Preptember ;)

Learn more about the fest and swag here: https://www.infracloud.io/blogs/infracloud-joins-hacktoberfest-2020/

Not sure how to start? Here are some steps:

Try to understand what we are trying to solve and how BotKube works. Documentation is published here https://www.botkube.io

Go through the CONTRIBUTING guide:
Try to build BotKube from the source and run it.

Find an interesting issue to solve.
Go through the open issues listed here. You can choose anyone from an existing open issue or propose/create a new issue if you feel something is missing and want to improve. The first-timer issues are tagged with
good-first-issue
or
hacktoberfest
labels. Such issues are simpler and comparatively easy to fix. So you can start with that.
Feel free to join BotKube Slack workspace at join.botkube.io and raise questions, discuss anything.

Happy hacking 🚀
