We are happy to announce that the Re:Buff Twitch Extension is now live! It is a game-changing tool for Streamers, Artists, and Indie Game Developers to collaborate and create new, engaging, and memorable experiences.

The new Re:Buff extension enables viewers to browse through shared pixel art collections right during the stream and directly via the stream Overlay. Pixel art can be shared by any streamer, whether you are the Creator, an Indie Game Developer, or a daily Streamer, to bring even more great new content and engagement for viewers.

How to add the extension to your Twitch profile?

Getting started with the Re:Buff Extension is quick and simple. Here’s how:

Install the Extension: Go to the Twitch Extensions and search for “Re:Buff” or “BrainBuff”. Click “Install” to add it to your channel.
Connect Your Account: Make sure your Twitch account is connected to Re:Buff. If you signed up at Re:Buff using Twitch, you’re already good to go. Otherwise, head to your settings at Re:Buff to connect your account.
Broadcast Your Collection: Navigate to your collection page or get someone’s public collection on Re:Buff and click the “Broadcast on Twitch” button. Your art will instantly appear on your stream!
Engage Your Audience: Use the Overlay or Panel to showcase your art, gather feedback, and keep the conversation flowing.

This new space is here to bring creators from various fields together to collaborate, fostering a mutually supportive environment, and reaching that synergy spark, that makes a difference.

The backstory

In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, creators are the driving force behind innovation and cultural transformation. From indie game developers to AAA studios, creators' unique contributions shape the future of entertainment, art, and technology.

However, despite creators' incredible potential, many face significant challenges in finding sustainable opportunities for growth and meaningful engagement.

The platform has successfully secured an award from a hackathon and continued to refine its core vision despite some unmet promises from the organizer and a change in the decision during the Accelerator. The organizer later presented our vision at an event featuring pitches from Accelerator participants.

Pushing the limits

The re:buff goes beyond the hype of AI and blockchain, focusing on building technology that empowers creators and supports a mutually supportive, sustainable creative economy with a recuperation effect.

A developed extension for Twitch — an exciting and rewarding experience, has further solidified the collaborative nature of re:buff. At the same time, we are on the brink of introducing payments, designed to support artists through revenue sharing and a recuperative economy at its core — ensuring that every creator's effort is rewarded, directly or indirectly.
