By leveraging geolocation technology, members can report local waste issues, participate in clean-up events, and access resources for sustainable living. I utilized Wix Studio’s JavaScript development capabilities to build a seamless user experience, incorporating geo-location features to enhance community engagement.</p> <h3> Velo APIs </h3> <p>To bring WasteBin to life, I utilized the following Velo APIs: </p> <ul> <li> <strong>Geolocation API</strong>: This allows users to automatically pinpoint their location for waste reporting and finding nearby recycling centers.</li> <li> <strong>Wix Data API</strong>: I used this to manage user-generated content, like waste reports and event listings, ensuring the community can contribute and access vital information easily.</li> <li> <strong>Wix Members API</strong>: This helps manage user profiles, enabling members to earn badges and track their contributions within the community.</li> </ul> <h3> Wix Apps </h3> <p>For added functionality, I integrated several Wix Apps: </p> <ul> <li> <strong>Wix Events</strong>: This app allows users to create and join community clean-up events and other waste management activities, fostering engagement and participation.</li> <li> <strong>Wix Chat</strong>: This feature provides real-time communication among members, enabling discussions, coordination of events, and sharing of tips.</li> <li> <strong>Wix Forms</strong>: I used forms for waste reporting and feedback, ensuring users can easily share their concerns or suggestions with the community.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Team Credits</strong>: </p> <ul> <li>Developer: piuskevin3 </li> </ul> <p>Thank you for the opportunity to showcase WasteBin.
