I have been building GPT Image Lab, a visual prompt library for
gpt-image-2
.

The goal is simple: make GPT Image 2 prompts easier to browse, evaluate, copy, and reuse. Instead of keeping prompts as isolated text snippets, every item is paired with a preview image, category, source metadata, and a path back to the original example.

Current snapshot, using the latest available data from 2026-04-26:

Website library: 2,985 prompt/template items

Prompts: 1,060

Templates: 1,925

Newly added on 2026-04-26: +703

New prompts: +443

New templates: +260

Open-source GitHub collection: 500 curated prompts

Links:

Website: https://gptimagelab.com/

GitHub: https://github.com/peterRooo/awesome-gpt-image-2-prompts

The website supports browsing by image and generating images from prompts in one click. The GitHub repo provides a smaller curated set with preview images and machine-readable exports.

 Why I built it

Great
gpt-image-2 prompt
examples are scattered across social posts, prompt sites, Reddit threads, and demos. The image might be useful, but the prompt is hard to find. Or the prompt is available, but you cannot quickly judge whether it is worth reusing.

So I organized the project around three layers:

A website for visual browsing and one-click image generation.

A GitHub repo with 500 curated, image-backed prompts.

JSON and CSV exports for developers who want to analyze or reuse the data.

The repository currently includes:

500 copy-ready GPT Image 2 prompts

Preview images

Categories such as Infographic, Poster, UI Mockup, Product Visual, 3D Scene, and more

Source attribution

data/gpt-image-2-prompts.json

data/gpt-image-2-prompts.csv

 A few examples

 1. Historical miniature grid

Useful for dense educational visuals, timelines, and grid-based scene generation.

Prompt excerpt:

Create a 16x16 grid with equal cells, each showing a different culture, civilization, or region-specific scene from a different time period in human history...

 2. Isometric city weather scene

Useful for city visuals, weather explainers, and stylized 3D scenes.

Prompt excerpt:

Present a clear, 45 degree top-down view of a vertical isometric miniature 3D cartoon scene, highlighting iconic landmarks centered in the composition...

 3. Packaging dieline to 3D box

Useful for packaging design, ecommerce mockups, and brand presentation images.

Prompt excerpt:

Assemble the dieline into a flawless 3D box with accurate panels, clean folds, undistorted type, and artwork preserved exactly...

 4. Mobile app onboarding screen

Useful for UI mockups, app concepts, and product design exploration.

Prompt excerpt:

Create a vertical mobile onboarding screen for a fictional app called NESTING. Headline: WELCOME TO NESTING...

 5. Product cutout with transparent background

Useful for ecommerce product images and marketing assets.

Prompt excerpt:

Extract the product from the input image. Output: transparent background, crisp silhouette, clean edges, no halos, no fringing...

 6. Technical infographic

Useful for explainers, technical education, and social media diagrams.

Prompt excerpt:

Style: tech-focused, futuristic, minimal but visually engaging. Include short captions, avoid clutter...

 7. City food map illustration

Useful for travel guides, local content, and editorial maps.

Prompt excerpt:

Create a hand-drawn city food map themed around Chengdu, using a simplified illustrated city map with landmarks and food spots...

 8. Recipe infographic

Useful for food content, recipe cards, and step-by-step visual tutorials.

Prompt excerpt:

 9. Photoshop shortcuts infographic

Useful for quick-reference cards and design education.

Prompt excerpt:

Create a clean and modern infographic showing the most essential Photoshop shortcuts, well organized and easy to read.

 10. Data science and machine learning panorama

Useful for learning roadmaps, technical posters, and course visuals.

Prompt excerpt:

Generate an extremely complex, information-dense panoramic infographic about data science and machine learning.

What I want to improve next

Next, I want to keep improving:

Better categories and filters

More prompt templates

Better examples for ecommerce, posters, infographics, UI mockups, and thumbnails

Cleaner contribution flow for the GitHub repo

More structured metadata for downstream analysis

If you are experimenting with
gpt-image-2
, this might be useful as a reference library:

Website: https://gptimagelab.com/

GitHub: https://github.com/peterRooo/awesome-gpt-image-2-prompts

I’m still actively updating GPT Image Lab after the initial launch.

As of April 26, 2026, the site now has 2,985 total library items:

1,060 prompts

1,925 templates

Today alone I added +703 new items:

+443 prompts

+260 templates

Live site: https://gptimagelab.com/
GitHub repo: https://github.com/peterRooo/awesome-gpt-image-2-prompts

This round focused less on “just nice-looking images” and more on practical, reusable gpt-image-2 prompt patterns for real use cases:

vintage travel posters

infographics

YouTube thumbnails

text rendering visuals

ecommerce hero images

product photography prompts

VTuber thumbnail layouts

35mm / CCD-style portraits

sticker sheets and miniature packaging templates

Here are some of the prompts added today:

 1. Amalfi Coast vintage travel poster

Prompt snippet: A modern pencil-illustration style vintage travel poster of the Amalfi Coast, with a panoramic cliff road, a classic 1960s white car, deep blue Mediterranean water, sailboats, colorful hillside villages, and lemon branches in the foreground. Warm summer light, bold retro colors, screen-print texture, graphic illustration quality, hand-drawn lines, and strong visual harmony.

I built an open GPT Image 2 prompt gallery with 400+ prompts and templates

I’ve been experimenting with
gpt-image-2
and noticed that good examples are scattered across many places: X, Reddit, Xiaohongshu, prompt communities, blog posts, and screenshots.

The problem is not only discovery. Even when you find a good image, the reusable prompt structure is often hard to extract.

So I built GPT Image Lab:

https://gptimagelab.com

And a companion GitHub repository:

https://github.com/peterRooo/awesome-gpt-image-2-prompts

 What it includes

The collection currently has 400+
gpt-image-2
prompts and templates, covering:

Portrait and photography prompts

Poster design prompts

Infographics and card layouts

UI mockups

Product visuals

Packaging design

3D scenes

Character illustration

Text rendering examples

The site is designed as an image-first gallery: look at the result first, then open the prompt and adapt it.

 Why I made it

When working with image generation prompts, I usually do not want to start from a blank page. I want to find a close reference, understand the structure, and replace the subject, scene, camera, lighting, material, and format details.

That workflow is much faster than writing a prompt from scratch.

 What is next

I’m adding lightweight tools around the library:

Prompt builder

Prompt improver

Prompt translator

More structured prompt templates

If you are experimenting with
gpt-image-2 prompt
workflows, I’d love feedback or contributions.

Apple Watch games work best when they feel instant

This article originally appeared on Games for Watch.

Apple Watch games feel right only when they respect the wrist.

That usually means three things:

You can understand the game at a glance.

You can start a round in seconds.

You can stop anytime without feeling like you abandoned a big session.

For a long time, “games on Apple Watch” sounded more like a novelty than a real category. But short-form puzzle and arcade formats are finally a much better fit than people assume.

 The quick answer

Yes, Apple Watch games are real now.

The versions that work best are not giant ports of phone games. They are compact, readable formats with familiar rules and fast restarts. Think of games like 2048, Tetris, Gomoku, Bubble Shooter, or Brick Breaker. Those mechanics make sense on a small screen and in spare minutes.

That is also why a watch-first collection works better than treating watchOS like a side feature.

 What actually fits the wrist

A good Apple Watch game should feel instant.

It should not ask for a long tutorial. It should not depend on tiny UI that is hard to parse. It should not require a long uninterrupted block of time.

The best candidates usually share the same traits:

 1. Short sessions first

Puzzle and arcade rounds are naturally better when you only have a minute or two. The smaller the interruption window, the more important restart speed becomes.

 2. Offline-friendly play

Apple Watch is often most useful while commuting, waiting in line, or during small in-between moments. In those situations, offline-friendly play matters more than elaborate progression systems.

 3. Readable rules

You should be able to look down and immediately know what to do next. Clear boards, familiar controls, and low-friction actions matter more than complexity.

Games that feel natural on Apple Watch

Formats that already have simple rules tend to translate best:

2048

Tetris

Gomoku

Bubble Shooter

Gold Miner

Brick Breaker

These work because they do not need much explanation. You can resume quickly, fail quickly, restart quickly, and keep the interaction focused.

Why the iPhone companion model still helps

The watch does not need to do everything.

A better setup is often:

 On Apple Watch

Launch a round in seconds.

Keep the screen focused on play.

Stop anytime without friction.

 On iPhone

Browse the full game catalog more comfortably.

Check rankings and supporting screens.

Handle discovery and management on a larger display.

That split makes the watch experience cleaner instead of overloaded.

 The practical takeaway

If someone asks, “Can you really play games on Apple Watch?” the answer is yes, but only certain kinds of games feel truly native there.

The winning pattern is simple: short rounds, clear rules, low-friction controls, and a watch-first mindset.
