Streaming coding with real projects

Hey people,

So as I already share with the community, i'm a front-end developer, and have the huge dream to be a fullstack and being recognized by the community on my country.

And for that, I started a live coding thing (Mainly in Portuguese, but i speak English as well), where you can shout out anything about code, where i can answer that, or sharing with the others on chat.

but I want to improve more (and @dev.to doesn't have that markdown already for twitch channels) but here it's my stream: https://www.twitch.tv/pedropcruz

Usually, I do some graphic design, or branding design, and then I do all the code of that website that i had designed before, explain all the things what I'm doing ATM. Some people like it, and i felt people seems like bored with this type of content.

So to you guys, and because i really enjoy the idea as a "community" I ask for help to improve my streaming codings. Need new ideas on that. Do you like the screen? (never mind about the donation bar. It's a think for people smile xD, it's not my main purpose. I'm doing this for fun, not winning money) What's for you the best thing and keeps you on a stream during 3/4 hours a day?

Hello guys

I write this post just to make known the community I created in my region, and the one that I have been actively growing since February this year, and we have about 1300 members: freeCodeCamp Lisbon. All these people know a bit of programming, know or work in the area, or they want to change their careers and they want to know more about programming. And I share with you: Create communities, learn to share so then we can make a better world.

In my country for example, when it comes to the work of programmers, there is a lot of "job security", and then there are not many. But I want to change that paradigm and that's why I decided to bet.

It isn't an obvious paid job, but rewarding and very enriching. I was afraid to express the way I explain to people about programming, I was afraid to talk to people, I finally feared that I wanted to deal with them.

Until that type of fears evolves, and now they are qualities that I have. And of course, every day I am improving and have more visibility in the programming community of my Country. It has defects, but we have to improve;)

So I ask you to take a look at what we have built, with campers who knew nothing or did not know how to work as a team in this world, and who did not know how to use the GIT at all. and we worked hard for it. www.freecodecamplisbon.org

In this community, we created the meetups, where we took questions about the curriculum of freeCodeCamp itself, created several challenges to learn more together (which are challenges/games where we all learn and have fun with it) we create workshops and talks on various topics. We want to extend to make more types of events, such as hackathons. From time to time we sell t-shirts to people at freeCodeCamp Lisbon. And people like it! :)

How you can start create your js code if you had testing side?

Hello people,

This questions it's a little bit pain in the ass for me, but i need to understand and start to understand this.

Imagine, I had HTML, CSS and some [nameOfTheFile].model.js , this file you had some tests here.

Pretty cool here.

I see the tests and i can understand some things. But it's hard for me creating my own JS according to the tests and make them checked and right.

So, how you start to see this type of projects?

Well, my doubt is simple: I need to organize work, family stuff and hobbies, need a good app for organize all that kind of stuff. Do you use something cool and OS (Open Source) and have app for iOS? Many thanks!
