That’s completely fine 👏

If you didn’t use GitHub, we

🏆 UGGrowthMetrics – TikTok Edition 🇺🇬

This is a submission for the DEV Weekend Challenge: Community

The Community

UGGrowthMetrics was built for Ugandan TikTok creators.

There is incredible talent in Uganda, but many creators grow through guesswork rather than structured strategy. Posting times are random, hooks lack retention psychology, and hashtags are copied blindly.

This project focuses on giving local creators accessible, simple growth tools tailored to our context.

What I Built

UGGrowthMetrics is a lightweight growth strategy dashboard that includes:

📊 Best Posting Time Estimator

🎯 Hook Strength Analyzer

🏷 Caption & Hashtag Generator

The goal is to help creators move from guessing → to intentional growth.

Demo

🔗 Live Project:
Password; My-Drop-Site****

Code

This project was built and deployed directly using Netlify without a GitHub repository.

All code was written using:

HTML

Tailwind CSS (CDN)

Vanilla JavaScript

How I Built It

The project was intentionally scoped as a lightweight frontend MVP for the weekend challenge.

It uses rule‑based logic to:

Evaluate hook strength
Suggest optimized posting times

Generate localized captions and hashtags

The focus was clarity, usability, and community impact over complexity.
