      <title>Bosses in Mini-Games</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;At a certain thresholds, the player will move up to different stages. Each stage has a mini-game which has a specific game boss. There are total of four stages all throughout the game.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Second Stage Boss: Booty Boss.&lt;/strong&gt; Player has to play a cookie-clicker-like game. To kill the boss and move on to the next stage, the player needs to click as much booties to clear the screen.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Third Stage Boss: Disco Boss.&lt;/strong&gt;With this next stage boss, player has to solve a puzzle with the disco lighting rays. The lights need to get calibrated to where all of them are pointing to the Disco boss. Disco boss then, dances his heart away and player wins the stage!&lt;br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Fourth Stage Boss: Nightmare Boss.&lt;/strong&gt;This boss is inspired by a celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay. The host of the hit reality show "Kitchen Nightmare" where chefs are put to test on the pressure of running a restaurant with certain standards.&lt;br&gt;
In this mini-game, the player needs to successfully dodge the flying-stabbing gigantic knives. At the end of the obstacle, the Nightmare Boss will be waiting to stab you! &lt;br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Final Stage Boss: Overfed Boss.&lt;/strong&gt;This is the boss of all bosses. Most demanding, unforgiving, ruthless and the biggest boss among the stages. It's a final stage boss for a reason! He will launched a special cooking challenge where he would make difficult-to-fulfill orders. Player has to make these orders within a strict timer. This is not the only challenge, player also has to deal with constant stickiness of slime that are being thrown by the boss. Failure to meet the boss's requirements will lead to accumulation of zombie hordes outside of the restaurant.&lt;br&gt;

      <title>Integrating Art to Unity</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Putting together the environment in the game is full of challenges but also exciting stuff. The cemetery setting is a blend of vibrant colors and spookiness. Purple ambient lighting did a great job on making the environment mysterious but also less serious. This game is all about fun!! No violence, except for a ton of giant knives trying to stab you. 100 % no gore, only on food recipes!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Main Menu Environment&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Home screen showcases the logo which is in 2D. The setting is a cemetery enveloped by fog and green ghost orbs. Can't be more spooky than that!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The transition is a fun wall of booties slightly twerking.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Play Screen Layout&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;
The main game screen is in isometric view. It does a simple zooming in and out at the moment. I'm planning to expand the camera capabilities to make the game play more dynamic or giving the player more navigation options. On the upper left, the kill score and kill points are being displayed. At the top of the screen, the orders are being queued accordingly as you progress on delivering food.The timer at the bottom will be one of the biggest challenges the player will face, as it determines if you fail the order or not. &lt;br&gt;

When orders start to come in, player can interact with the stove to start the cooking. That would trigger the Ingredients icon and the Recipe book icon. In the ingredients, it will open the ingredients grid. In here, player will have to choose the correct ingredients for the recipe to fulfill the orders.&lt;br&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;When I started to realize that I need to learn how to code to get the game functionality going, I panicked. I was not the great coder, I lack programming foundation. For a few years, I've tried to learn how to code, mainly from watching tutorials and reading some StackOverflow. Not much knowledge stuck with me but I figured, I could just learn while making this game.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I've seen a Bolt demo in one of the Unity webinars and thought it was cool. I decided to use it, had a bunch of issues because I have no idea what I'm doing. Eventually, the tool got absorbed my Unity and it became a built-in. It was easier to use after that.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I enjoyed using the Bolt now called Scripting Machine. You make script graphs where you can practically add any type nodes possible to build the back-end of your game. It was fun but tedious as heck. I didn't know that I spent so much time on it until I learned how to code little things here and there. I will not recommend coding your game in visual scripting unless you need to work with non-coder who deals with getting functions into the game as well.&lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Prior to this mini personal project, I have only touched SketchUp for a 3D modelling software. I had to learn Blender. Endless tutorial videos (YT : Grant Abbit) and some "hands-on" practice. Even after all this, it was a little overwhelming to learn Blender as a beginner. I decided to stream my learning journey in Twitch and was able to meet like-minded people. I love learning from people. I organized a discord hangout where everyone in the community were welcome to use Blender together while in the voice channel. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Initial kitchen 3D environment.&lt;/strong&gt; I wanted to make it simple and straightforward. The player will navigate the kitchen area making food for the zombie customers. During the mini games, player will be in the dining area facing the game's variety of challenges.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Where the idea came from?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I wasn't big of a gamer growing up, my sister hoarded the family computer and didn't give me time to enjoy playing the games in there. She was really good at them because heck, she played more hours than I do. I always lose!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Around highschool, I still didn't get to play vidya games. I was busy trying to be cool but I obviously failed. I ended up that one kid who weirdly enjoys cropping the head of a photo to a different body in Photoshop. We didn't own a computer at home at the time, so my graphics skill kind of sucks. Even using paint was a pain. Paint is Pain, it's in the name. I mean if you can do Paint art back in the day, you a nerd!!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Anyhoo, I like making art but art has been really painful to get into. I was busy. Busy not doing art.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;From 2012 to 2016, I get to play games in PC, consoles and mobiles. I like playing zombie games. I just know that if I'm going to make a game, it should be this very theme.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;One day, I was walking with a coworker. Let's call him Jack. He started talking about his concept for a game and I suddenly felt the pressure to come up with my own. That is how I came up with the idea. I can't share Jack's idea...because well, that's his IP.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Do I know how to do concept art?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I certainly do not.&lt;br&gt;
