I was tired of googling things in the normal way and was thinking is there anything to understand the client and server works? Then I got to know about Postman through which we can create API and make API calls. And thanks to GDG ADGITM for organizing this Postman API 101 workshop.

I have learned how methods and parameters are useful for doing certain tasks on a website. As I have a keen interest in Cybersecurity understanding Postman and API calls using Postman helps me to get a better understanding of the client-server relationship and why APIs are crucial.

Sir Mr. Veer Yadav did a great job explaining APIs, methods, and parameters in a great way and also making the session interactive.

Furthermore, I have completed my Postman student expert certification because Postman is the skill that I must have to have a deeper knowledge of the web and also sarcastically, to get a job in Postman.

What's left behind after hacktoberfest 2023?

This year hacktoberfest 2023 came and went with compelling memories I have created with my friends. This was my first time taking part in hacktoberfest event.

When the event started I was like how to search for specific repos and what changes I should make and oh god! those 7 days for accepting the PR as valid PR was too long. Sometimes I thought about what would happen if my PR got excluded but fortunately, my initial 4 pull requests got accepted😂😂

Talking with friends about in what repo they are contributing and what changes they had made sweet memories and fun while contributing in a repo and learning many great things💫💫

For me, it was a great event to be a part of hacktoberfest. Enjoyed and learned a lot from hacktoberfest 2023
