Amazon Kinesis

هي عائلة من الخدمات التي تقدمها امازون والتي تسمح لنا بجمع وتحليل البيانات المتدفقة في ذات الوقت حيث يمكنك الحصول علي رؤية كامله عن البيانات في الوقت الفعلي و اتخاذ اجراء في الوقت المناسب
يمكن ان تكون تلك البيانات هي عبارة عن ضغطات على الشاشة في موقع معين او حساسات مستخدمة في مشروع انترنت الاشياء او حتى اصوات وصور من كاميرات المراقبة

تحتوي عائلة كينيسيس على أكثر من فرد سوف نتعرف عليهم لاحقا في هذه السلسلة من المقالات

يمكنها من استيعاب البيانات المتدفقة في نفس لحظة توليدها وتحليلها او تخزينها لمعالجتها في وقت لاحق او اتخاذ قرار في نفس الوقت
هي خدمة مدارة بالكامل ولا تحتاج اي بنية تحتية ويمكن ربطها مباشرة بالتطبيق الخاص بها
خدمة قابلة للتوسع حيث يمكنها التعامل مع اي كمية بيانات مهما كانت حجمها ويمكن ربطها بمئات الالاف من المصادر

تحليل بيانات أجهزة إنترنت الأشياء

items, such as movies, songs, or products. aws-item-attribute identifies users based on the attributes they care about, such as genre or price point.

Custom Document Enrichment

With Amazon Kendra Custom Document Enrichment capabilities, you can build a custom ingestion pipeline that pre-processes documents before they get indexed into Amazon Kendra. For example, while ingesting content from a repository like SharePoint using AWS connectors, you can enrich documents with additional metadata, convert scanned documents to text, classify documents, extract entities, and further transform the document using custom extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes. The enrichment

what is the difference between auto machine learning and AWS SageMaker Autopilot?

SageMaker Autopilot uses a transparent approach to AutoML

In nontransparent approaches, as shown in the image below, we don’t have control or visibility into the chosen algorithms, applied data transformations, or hyper-parameter choices. We point the
automated machine learning (AutoML) service to our data and receive a trained model.

This makes it hard to understand, explain, and reproduce the model. Many AutoML solutions implement this kind of nontransparent approach.

as you see, in many AutoML services, we don’t have visibility into the chosen algorithms, applied data transformations, or hyper-parameter choices.

SageMaker Autopilot documents and shares its findings throughout the data analysis, feature engineering, and model tuning steps.

SageMaker Autopilot doesn’t just share the models; it also logs all observed metrics and generates Jupyter notebooks, which contain the code to reproduce the model pipelines, as visualized in the image bellow

The data-analysis step identifies potential data-quality issues, such as missing values that might impact model performance if not addressed. The Data Exploration notebook contains the results from the data analysis step. SageMaker Autopilot also generates another Jupyter notebook that contains all pipeline definitions to provide transparency and reproducibility. The Candidate Definition notebook highlights the best algorithms to learn our given dataset, as well as the code and configuration needed to use our dataset with each algorithm.

SageMaker Autopilot generates Jupyter notebooks, features engineering scripts, and model code.

Amazon Machine Learning Key Concepts

Data sources

Term	Definition
Attribute	A unique, named property within an observation. In tabular-formatted data such as spreadsheets or CSV files
Datasource Name	A unique name for a dataset
Input Data	Collective name for all the observations that are referred to by a datasource.
Location	Amazon ML can use data that is stored within Amazon S3 buckets, Amazon Redshift databases, or MySQL databases in Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)
Observation	A single data point that is part of a datasource
Schema	The information needed to interpret the input data, including attribute names and their assigned data types, and names of special attributes.
Statistics	Summary statistics for each attribute in the input data
Status	Indicates the current state of the datasource, such as In Progress, Completed, or Failed.
Target Attribute	the target attribute is the attribute whose value will be predicted by a trained ML model

ML Models

Term	Definition
Regression	ML model to predict a numeric value
Multiclass	ML model to predict values that belong to a limited, pre-defined set of permissible values.
Binary	ML model to predict values that can only have one of two state
Model Size	ML models capture and store patterns. The more patterns a ML model stores, the bigger it will be. ML model size is described in Mbytes.
Number of Passes	he number of times that you let Amazon ML use the same data records is called the number of passes.
Regularization	Regularization is a machine learning technique that you can use to obtain higher-quality models

Evaluations

Term	Definition
Model Insights	Amazon ML provides you with a metric to evaluate the predictive performance of your model.
Precision	the number of positive class predictions that actually belong to the positive class.
Recall	the number of positive class predictions made out of all positive examples in the dataset.
AUC	Area Under the ROC Curve (AUC) measures the ability of a binary ML model to predict a higher score for positive examples as compared to negative examples
Accuracy	Accuracy measures the percentage of correct predictions.
F1-score	The macro-averaged F1-score is used to evaluate the predictive performance of multiclass ML models.
RMSE	The Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) is a metric used to evaluate the predictive performance of regression ML models.
Cut-off	The cut-off is the threshold that you use to determine whether a predicted value is correct or not.

Batch Predictions

Term	Definition
Output Location	The results of a batch prediction are stored in an S3 bucket output location.
Manifest File	This file relates each input data file with its associated batch prediction results. It is stored in the S3 bucket output location.

Real-time Predictions

Real-time predictions are for applications with a low latency requirement, such as interactive web, mobile, or desktop applications.

Real-time Prediction API	The Real-time Prediction API accepts a single input observation in the request payload and returns the prediction in the response.

Instance Types

Amazon EC2 passes on to you the financial benefits of Amazon’s scale. You pay a very low rate for the compute capacity you actually consume.

On-Demand Instances— With On-Demand instances, you pay for compute capacity by the hour or the second depending on which instances you run. No longer-term commitments or upfront payments are needed.
Spot Instances—Spot Instances are available at up to a 90% discount compared to On-Demand prices and let you take advantage of unused Amazon EC2 capacity in the AWS Cloud.
Reserved Instances—Reserved Instances provide you with a significant discount (up to 72%) compared to On-Demand instance pricing. You have the flexibility to change families, operating system types, and tenancies while benefitting from Reserved Instance pricing when you use Convertible Reserved Instances.
Savings Plans—Savings Plans are a flexible pricing model that offer low prices on EC2 and Fargate usage, in exchange for a commitment to a consistent amount of usage (measured in $/hour) for a 1 or 3 year term.
Dedicated Hosts—A Dedicated Host is a physical EC2 server dedicated for your use. Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling helps you maintain application availability and allows you to automatically add or remove EC2 instances according to conditions you define.
