100DaysOfCode : Week 3-5

Hey there~😄

I started the #100daysofcode challenge about a month ago and decided to document my journey here. Earlier, I wrote my first ever blog titled- 100DaysOfCode: Week 0-2 and I felt so contented when I came to know that my blog post somehow helped & inspired others!🥺✨ Today, I'll be sharing my latest progress and what I've done up until now through this post!! Also, I had my exams through these weeks (again ㅠㅠ ), but I still tried to keep up with the challenge cause just like Martin Luther King, Jr. said,

"If you can’t run, walk; if you can’t walk, crawl, but keep moving forward!".
So, diving to it~🏊

WEEK 3

Did some coding questions in Java
Completed a Color generator app in react
Made some CSS art of Saregama Caravan Go🎶 on codepen
Learned about regression analysis, forecasting, and data analysis using ANN
Halfway completed free code camp's Javascript Algorithms and data structures certification

moving onto the next week...

WEEK 4

Worked through free code camp's Js certification
Completed another react app: Grocery bud
Completed these CSS artworks on codepen:
- If I fits, I sits (with some animation),
- Statistics Card
Also, received my first-ever Hacktoberfest 2020 badge on my dev.to profile!! It looks so COOL.🤩 Check it out here!

WEEK 5

This week I found a really cool 3D modeling design tool named "Spline" while lurking on product hunt. Spline enables users to create really amazing 3D web experiences without writing any code!🤩 And this tool really got me "HOOKED" to it! (I've been creating a lot of 3D models recently HELP!) Now, for week 5:

Completed fcc's js certification till object-oriented programming module
Solved different level coding problems in Java
Worked upon another react app: Bin2Dec
Did these 3D models using the spline tool
- Snowman
- Android
- Jake

... and that was all for week 3-5! Hope I was able to deliver something of value. Also, a VERY

100DaysOfCode : Week 0-2

Hello everyone! 😄👋

After days(S) of contemplation on whether should I start documenting my #100DaysOfCode challenge journey; I finally am...

HERE! WRITING!I think imposter syndrome got the best of me * nervous laughter *. Also, this is my first time of writing a blog, so I hope I do it right & I'm open to constructive criticism. Diving into it ~

On Nov 6, 2020 I made the decision to publicly commit to the challenge and I'm really happy to say that so far, I've completed 3 weeks i.e, 21 days of it already!

I'm amazed that I learnt so many new concepts in this short time span and came across some works of really amazing developers on Twitter which left me in awe✨. Tech Twitter is so positive and encouraging. I'm really appreciative of the fact that people are so supportive there! And those Twitter bots🤖! Them! retweeting my progress tweets! HOW MOTIVATING IS THAT THING! plus that also helps my work to reach more people out there.

Anyways, my reason for starting this challenge is to improve, learn new technologies, inculcate in good practices and grow as a developer. The plan so far is like this:

Learn React
Do some coding
Vanilla JavaScript projects!!
Do some more coding ㅠ_ㅠ
CSS Animation (if you have any guide or something, please let me know)
Get better at CSS Art (the "works" that I mentioned above inspired me to try it out)

This is just a random order which I wrote as they came inside my head and the list will definitely EXPAND! Moving on~

WEEK 0

Completed the following frontend mentor's challenges: Testimonials grid section, Base Apparels.
Wes Bos's "What the flexbox" & "CSS grid" course
Excel course from FreeCodeCamp
Solved a few leet code problems
Made a lorem ipsum generator using react
Completed 2 css challenges from 100dayscss.com
Made a Kirby css art which got selected by codepen !!😳
Made a vanilla js calculator

... and that was all about week 0! Marching towards week 1🏃‍♀️~~

WEEK 1

Learnt about webpack, react hooks, web-accessibility
Did css art of one of my favorite characters of Spirited Away (Ghibli movie) !!
Done with React Slack clone app (a very basic version tho...) I GOT STUCK HERE SO BAD FOR SOME INFINITE ERROR FOR 2 DAYS but somehow made it work. YIKES!!😬
Got 3 fcc's responsive web projects completed!

And now,,,,,,, we've got drum rolls 🥁 week 2

WEEK 2

FINALLY earned fcc's Responsive Web Certification!
Another Pen of mine got selected by Codepen!😳
Done & dusted with my Power Puff Girls css art series~~ Blossom, Bubbles & Buttercup

(This week I had my uni exams going on too, but I'm glad that I kept going on with the challenge)

Phew!😮‍💨 that was all about my progress of 3 weeks of 100days challenge and I'm so excited for what i will be working on for the next week ~ Will see you in the next one. Until then,
