Hello everyone
If you don't know who I am and you most likely don't , I am Ser Jaime one of the greatest knights of Westeros. A couple of days ago after a couple of weeks of pondering and procrastinating and what not I had decided to learn web development because it entices me and It will be helpful to get me a GSOC internship.
I had decided to complete the frontend development path designed by MDN and scrimba. It is a 81.75 hours long course and I had decided to study 7 hours per day and complete the course in 11-12 days.
So I had started this path yesterday , yeah so its technically day 2 when I am writing this.
So I started the path from scrimba couldnt do it for more than 3 hours lol.

Day 0 of learning front end web development

Hello everyone ,
I am ser Jaime Lannister , one of the greatest knights of westeros .Ok guys serJaime is just my pseudo anonymous name. And why am I using an alias name ? Because i dont want to use my name. lol xD .
Let me tell something about myself. I am doing bachelors in computer science at one of the top 3 cs universities in my country. Not a flex lol. Even i am not sure how i ended up here but I am thankful to destiny and god (if both of them exist and are reading this). So I have completed my first year of undergrad. Everyhting has been fine till now. In my second semester I had a course which aimed to teach us full stack web development. So it was a half sem course and it became really difficult to learn so many new languages and concepts in such a short span of time. I vibe coded my way through the labs and assignments. Even the prof had industry experience and he let us use whatever ai tools we wanted to use. The course was successful in developing my interest in web development. Looking at linkedin I also realised that web development is an important skill for open source. I want to be good at open source because I want to get GSOC internship in secocnd year. It will give me work ex,resume points and a decent stipend. Also in the fourth sem of my college there will be a course on devops. NO not your regular theory decops , practical devops where we will have to build something for the startups. Also in my first semester i had a deep desire to do frontend web dev and backend web dev from free code camps youtube channel. But i kept procastinating and now second sem is over , I am 2 weeks into my summer break and yet i dont have any industry level skills. Everyone else seems to have achieves something , some people are in multiple clubs , some are good at these hackathons , some have extremely good grades and some have internships offers in first year itself. So after uncountable instances of procastinating I have decide that I will start to learn front end development. I registered for the github student developer pack and have got free access to the pro plan of scrimba.com for 1 month. I plan to utilise this to learn front end web development and also learn something about this AI hype train. I have decided that I will learn complete the front end developer path by scrimba that is designed by MDN. I will start from tomorrow and have given myself a whopping 12 days to complete the 81 hour long course. I will be writting blogs for the next 12 days. I hope that I remain consistent in posting these blogs. Please engage with this , let me know your thought. It will encourage me a lot.

Signing of,
Ser Jaime Lannister aka The Kingslayer
