From $0 to $10,000: A Year-End Reflection on Building a Small Agency

On 18th January 2025, CodeSphere Agency started at $0.

No clients.

No investors.

No safety net.

Just a laptop, a skillset, and a decision to take execution seriously.

As 2025 comes to an end, the agency hasn’t even completed a full year yet — but it has crossed $10,000 in revenue. This post is a year-end reflection on what actually worked, what didn’t, and what building from zero really looks like.

More than anything, it’s a note of gratitude to every client who believed in us early.

 Starting With Nothing

Starting at zero feels heavy.

You are not just coding. You are also writing proposals, following up on messages, fixing things late at night, and questioning whether this will even work.

There were weeks with no replies.

Days where work was shipped but momentum didn’t feel real yet.

What kept things moving was consistency and the trust of a few early clients who took a chance when there was no track record to point at.

 What Actually Moved the Needle

A lot of ideas sounded good in theory but didn’t help much in practice.

Waiting for big clients didn’t work.

Overthinking branding early didn’t work.

Chasing every opportunity didn’t work.

What did work was simpler.

Shipping small but real projects.

Solving very specific problems for clients.

Communicating clearly and honestly.

Showing up consistently.

Most of the progress came from doing unglamorous work properly.

The Skill Stack Was Not the Advantage

There are developers who are far better technically.

The real difference came from reliability.

Replying on time.

Being honest about timelines.

Fixing issues without excuses.

Thinking like a business owner, not just a developer.

Clients may not remember the tools used, but they always remember how working together felt.

Revenue Is a Result, Not the Goal

Crossing $10,000 matters, but not because of the number alone.

What mattered more was learning how to scope work properly, price projects realistically, say no to poor-fit work, and build confidence through delivery.

Revenue followed clarity and trust, not pressure.

 No Investors. No Shortcuts.

Everything so far has been bootstrapped.

No ads.

No funding.

No shortcuts.

Just skills, daily execution, and shipping work even when motivation was low.

Growth did not come from luck.

It came from repetition and belief from the right people.

 What 2025 Taught Me

Before the year ends, these are the lessons that stand out the most:

Start before you feel ready

Progress beats perfection

Consistency compounds quietly

Execution is a learnable skill

Trust is built one project at a time

 Ending the Year With Gratitude

This is not one full year completed yet.

It’s simply the end of 2025.

The $10,000 milestone is not a finish line.

It’s proof that the system works and that a few people believed early.

To every client who trusted CodeSphere Agency before there was proof, thank you. This growth belongs to you as much as it does to us.

The next phase is about better processes, better decisions, better clients, and building things that scale.

If you’re starting from $0 too, keep going.

It’s slower than it looks from the outside, but it works if you stay consistent.

Ending the year grateful and stronger than it began.

https://codesphere.agency

Onwards. 🚀

Hey everyone 👋

I’m Hasnain Makada, Founder & CEO of CodeSphere Agency, and this is a deep dive into one of our latest engineering-heavy projects:

the complete design and development of babulnathalloys.com, a power-generation spare parts platform.

🔗 Live Website: https://babulnathalloys.com

🔗 CodeSphere Agency: https://codesphere.agency

🔗 Book a Meeting with Us: https://codesphere.agency/meeting

This wasn’t just “another website build.”

It was an end-to-end system designed for scale, speed, and real-world usage by a company handling hundreds of critical diesel engine components every month.

In this case study, I’ll walk through the challenges, the architecture we put in place, and how we used Next.js 16, Prisma, and Supabase to build a powerful, future-ready solution.

 🧩 Understanding the Challenge

Babulnath Alloys supplies spare parts for engines from Wärtsilä, MAN, MAK, Sulzer, and more.

Their operations involve:

Managing multiple engine brands and series

Handling large catalogs of industrial-grade spare parts

Frequent updates of product photos, specs, and categories

Responding quickly to enquiries from power plants and marine clients

Their previous digital presence didn’t reflect the structure or reliability of their business.

So our challenge was to build:

A clean, modern digital identity

A highly structured product ecosystem

A scalable backend for continuous expansion

A simple yet powerful admin panel for non-technical users

This became the foundation of the system.

 🏗️ Designing the System Architecture

To ensure long-term scalability, we structured the platform around three core data layers:

 1. Brands Layer

(Example: Wärtsilä, MAK, MAN, Sulzer…)

Each brand gets its own dedicated section with its own product series.

 2. Engine Series Layer

(Example: Wartsila 20, 26, 32, 38 / MAN L28/32 / MAK M20, M25, M32…)

This creates a drill-down path from brand → series → products.

 3. Product Categories

(Pistons, liners, valves, fuel pumps, turbocharger parts, bearings, etc.)

This ensures clean organization even when the catalog grows into the thousands.

This structure keeps the UI simple while giving the admin panel room to grow.

 ⚙️ Tech Stack (Next.js 16 + Prisma + Supabase)

We chose a modern and scalable stack built around performance and flexibility.

 🔹 Next.js 16

Server Actions

Optimized Routing

Suspense-based loading

Built-in security enhancements

Perfect for fast, SEO-ready industrial websites

 🔹 Prisma ORM

Clean database models

Easy migrations

Stable type-safe queries

Ideal for large relational structures like brands → series → products

 🔹 Supabase

A highly reliable managed Postgres database

Built-in authentication

Edge functions support

Perfect for powering the admin panel and enquiry system

The combination of these tools gave us the flexibility of a custom backend with the speed of a modern full-stack framework.

 🧰 Building the Admin Panel

For Babulnath Alloys, the admin panel was non-negotiable.

They needed complete control without touching a single line of code.

We built a secure, simple, and scalable dashboard where they can:

Upload & manage product images

Add new engine series and categories

Edit brand pages

Update homepage banners

Manage all customer enquiries

View structured tables for products, brands & series

Supabase Auth handles authentication, while Prisma manages the relational structure behind the scenes.

The goal was to give them freedom — and we achieved exactly that.

 🎨 UX & Design Philosophy

Since the engineering industry depends on clarity and trust, we designed with:

A blue + yellow industrial palette

Bold headings for strong brand presence

Clean product cards

Mobile-first layouts for field engineers

Simple navigation focused on speed

High-contrast CTAs

The entire experience is engineered to feel solid, honest, and reliable — just like their business.

 🚀 Performance & Optimization

We ensured peak performance with techniques like:

Next.js 16 caching strategies

Image optimization + lazy loading

Database indexing with Prisma + Supabase

Static generation where possible

Server Actions for minimal API requests

The result:

a fast, smooth, and efficient corporate-grade platform.

 🎯 Final Outcome

The final system delivered:

A professional, modern brand identity

A scalable backend with room for hundreds of parts

A simple admin panel that anyone can use

A fast and secure website built for real-world industrial users

A strong foundation for future e-commerce or quotation automation

Babulnath Alloys now has a digital platform that reflects their engineering strength — not just a website, but a long-term asset.

 🙌 Closing Thoughts

As the Founder of CodeSphere Agency, it’s always fulfilling to build systems that create real value.

This project was a reminder of why I love what I do — creating digital foundations for businesses that keep industries running.

🚀 How CodeSphere Agency Is Quietly Changing the Way Businesses Hire Developers (And Why This Week Was a Game-Changer)

Hey everyone!

I’m Hasnain Makada, Founder & CEO of CodeSphere Agency — and this week might be the most important step forward since we began our journey.

If you’ve been following our updates, you know we’ve been working silently behind the scenes to build something powerful.

This week, it finally went live.

And it has the potential to change how businesses hire developers in India — and beyond.

🌐 Website: https://codesphere.agency

Let’s get straight into what changed and why this update matters.

🔥 The Real Problem We’re Solving

Let’s be honest:

Hiring developers in 2025 should be fast.

But it still feels like a gamble.

Interviews take weeks

Freelancers disappear mid-project

Agencies charge huge retainers

Onboarding is slow

Quality isn’t consistent

So we asked ourselves:

“Why can’t hiring developers be as simple as subscribing to a service?”

And this week… we shipped that answer.

🚀 1. The Developer Subscription Model — Our Biggest Launch Ever

Imagine hiring top engineers the same way you subscribe to Netflix or Notion.

Predictable.

Flexible.

Zero nonsense.

That’s exactly what we built.

 What makes it a game-changer:

⚡ 7-Day Free Trial — test your developer with zero commitment

💸 100% Refund Guarantee — if you’re not satisfied

👨‍💻 Top 5% Vetted Talent — Flutter, React & Full-Stack

🔄 Scale Anytime — upgrade, downgrade, or switch developers

🛡 Free Replacement Guarantee — quality stays consistent

📈 Monthly Plans — no long-term contracts

🔧 Full Code Ownership — you own everything

This isn’t the future of hiring.

This should’ve been the present.

🎯 2. Starter, Growth & Scale — Pricing That Actually Makes Sense

We rebuilt our pricing so businesses know exactly what they get.

 Starter

For small features, improvements, or MVP updates.

 Growth

For startups building fast & shipping often.

 Scale

For companies running multiple modules, with PM + QA included.

The whole idea:

Pay only for what you need. Nothing more.

📊 3. The Compare-Plans Dashboard Is Now Live

One of the biggest pain points our clients had before was confusion.

So we solved it.

Now you can compare:

Developer hours

PM involvement

QA coverage

Reporting frequency

Support priority

Communication channels

Clear. Simple. Transparent.

Just how it should be.

⚡ 4. Onboarding Time Reduced to 7–10 Days

Hiring developers usually takes 45–60 days.

We cut that by nearly 80%.

 New onboarding includes:

Kickoff meeting

Developer matching

Project setup

Weekly sprint planning

Performance monitoring

Real-time communication dashboard

Businesses can now start building instead of waiting.

🏆 5. Internal Wins That Made This Week Special

This week we:

Received more inbound leads than the last two weeks combined

Finalized our trial + refund guarantee

Improved brand messaging

Released educational content across social platforms

Finished polishing our subscription landing page

Streamlined sprint reviews for all ongoing clients

Small steps stacked together → massive momentum.

✨ Why These Updates Matter (For You)

Because businesses today don’t just need developers —

they need consistency, speed, and accountability.

This week’s updates push CodeSphere closer to becoming the most reliable way businesses can scale their tech without slow hiring cycles.

If you’ve ever struggled with developers, delays, or uncertainty, these updates were built for you.

 🔗 Explore CodeSphere

Want to see the new model in action?

👉 Visit: https://codesphere.agency

👉 DM me for early access or a free consultation

 📌 Final Thoughts

We’re not just building an agency.

We’re building a new standard for hiring — one that prioritizes speed, quality, and trust.

This week’s launch was just the beginning.

Next week, I’ll be revealing updates to our QA pipeline and our new sprint reporting system.

Stay tuned — big things are coming. 🚀

🚀 Our 10-Month Journey at Codesphere Agency: From Zero Clients to a Growing Portfolio

Hello everyone! I’m Hasnain Makada, Founder & CEO of Codesphere Agency — where we help businesses identify bottlenecks, streamline operations, and build reliable, sustainable digital solutions.

Today, I want to share a personal chapter of our journey — something raw, real, and hopefully motivating for anyone building something from scratch.

🌱 The Early Days: A Slow Start No One Warns You About

When we launched Codesphere around 10 months ago, we were full of energy, ideas, and ambition.

But what we didn’t expect was the silence.

For three months, we didn’t get a single client.

Not one.

Our team was constantly sending cold emails, refining messaging, researching leads, and doing every form of outreach we could think of. And still — barely any traction.

Those were the days when frustration felt like a permanent team member. But we kept reminding ourselves of one thing:

Time is the biggest asset you have. Sometimes you need to survive the waiting phase before you can grow.

⚡ The Breakthrough: Securing Our First Client

Three months later, everything changed.

We landed our first official client: Power Links, a cables and motors dealer based in Alang. I still remember sitting across from the owners during our first meeting. They were determined to take their business forward digitally — and that energy felt familiar.

Closing that deal wasn’t just business; it was validation.

It reminded us that progress often arrives slowly… then all at once.

 📈 The Momentum Kicks In

Once Power Links came onboard, we doubled down on our outreach. And slowly, the doors began opening:

Foodzaam joined our client list.

Project Aura happened soon after.

Conversations started turning into real opportunities.

Each project taught us something new — not just about tech, but about people, resilience, and the importance of consistent effort.

📝 Wrapping Up: A Week of Growth, Lessons & Gratitude

This week’s reflection reminded me why we started Codesphere Agency in the first place.

10 months ago, we didn’t know if this would work.

Today, we’re building solutions for real businesses, with real impact.

And the journey has only just begun.

Thank you for reading — and stay tuned for next week’s blog!

If you're building something of your own, I hope this story gives you a small push:

Keep showing up. Your breakthrough might be one email, one meeting, or one month away.

2025 so farrrrrr..............

 Introduction

Hey everyone, my name is Hasnain Makada, and I am a 22-year-old software engineer currently serving as the CEO and founder of my own consultancy firm, Codesphere Agency, where I consult businesses and build sustainable solutions for them.

So this was all about my introduction so far. I graduated from college in May 2025, and since then, I have been working relentlessly at my own company. You can have a look at my profile on Github.

 Where was I writing previously?

So from my writing style, the person reading this might have thought that where was I writing previously, I was on hashnode, most people would know about hashnode and you can checkout my blog here.

I discovered hashnode during my freshman years at college when all of this AI era was not there, and Stack Overflow and Stack Exchange was the only place for looking the perfect solution to our coding errors. Since then I have been writing blogs from the last 4 years in markdown format on hashnode and believe me once you know the syntax of markdown, there's no going back.

So you might be surprised that why the sudden switch to DEV Platform, I wanted to start a blog where I can express my personal feelings and my view about the latest happenings around in tech, so I thought dev would be the perfect place to start around as it has a large community of readers compared to hashnode and the best thing...MarkDown Support as well.

What I've been doing lately this year

Honestly saying, this year is full of compromises for me, started a company which didn't recieved it's first client for months, then started preparing for colleges for masters and getting an admission in a decent college in india is a hell lot of effort no matter how much skilled you are, if you don't have a good score in competetive exam, then you are worthless, people start seeing you as a loser and you become a complete failure in your own eyes.

But this wasn't the case for me, when even the tier 3 college of gujarat and all over india rejected me stating that I don't have the sufficent knowledge required to clear the exam, I was not at all disappointed because my parents and my brother supported me even at my lowest, some people don't even have the privilage of getting that as well.

So the first 3 months of 2025 were a hell of a mountain for me, I was feeling like that maybe I am not that much of a genius or the colleges are not for me, but my brother supported me throughout my journey and inspired me to prepare again for 2026, and that is all I started preparing again.

5 months into preparing, I am halfway into the syllabus which once I thought that I wouldn't be able to do it again and now I am pretty much confident about those subjects and would easily beat anyone at core level 😅

Last but not the least my github account has gone pretty much in stale mode because during my college years, it was my habit of building my side priejcts ans leanring new things everyday and pursuing new course, but now due to the extreme preparation it has all gone to stale mode, so I am thinking of started a new project and find some new clents for my agency once this exams and everything gets over

Yeah that's all about myself in this year,

But I always remember one thing, "The best thing about time is... It always chnages" and my whole life is based on philosophy, because without music and philosophy people would have committed suicide a long time ago

So yeah that's the end of this blog, now let's meet in the next one with a new chapter of my current progress.....

Btw here is my company's website Codesphere Agency

Adios....
