Hello struggling newbie, here is the roadmap to becoming a UI designer in 2023.

Step 1: Identify your why. Why do you want to become a UI/UX designer?

Step 2: Understand UI design.
https://www.interaction-design.org/literature/topics/ui-design
https://uxplanet.org/what-is-ui-vs-ux-design-and-the-difference-d9113f6612de

Visual Understanding
https://mobbin.com/browse/android/apps
https://pageflows.com/

Let's see how to create a color palette step by step for a UI/UX design project.

There are several ways to complete the task. To make a color palette you need software, but no matter what software you are using... I am using Figma to design the user interface, so I will show it on Figma.

Let's get started
Step 1: Choose a base color and change the color mode from HEX to HSB.

Everyone knows about the HSB (H-Hue, S-Saturation, B-Brightness). When we want to increase our color intensity, then we should increase the saturation, and if you want to create a shade, decrease the brightness.

Step 2: Apply the color to the shape on your canvas or frame. You can use a circle or a rectangle as a shape.

Step 3: Duplicate (Ctrl+D) the shape five times. So the total number of shapes is now 6.

Step 4: Choose the shape near the base color and modify only the saturation or brightness to get two supportive dark shades of the base color.

I reduced the brightness from 95 to 75 and from 75 to 50 to make these two supportive dark shades of the base color.

Step 5: Now make two neutral colors by adding gray and white. I have changed the S and B to add gray and white to make 2 neutral colors. Have a look at the below image and compare the colors with the base color. You can see the changes in S and B.

If you think this is hard to understand for you, then no worries. You just drag your color pointer to the left to gray, and for the last one, just drag it to white. Then you will get two neutral colors, which are close to gray and white.

Step 6: Finally, add a dark tone to your color by adding more dark and gray or moving the color pointer to the dark and gray.

Hurrah! This is the color palette. As you see, this is a single color-based color palette called a Monochromatic color palette. You can design a complete interface by using this single color-based color palette.

Let's see an example below...

So, you can try now by following these instructions.

Hey! Here are some best practices of Input Component design.

Use enough padding for scannability

Add enough space between inputs

Add enough spacing between elements (Label, help text, icon, placeholder, validation text etc.)

Use standard input styling for faster recognition

Use labels to guide users

Keep labels concise

Keep labels legible

Select label case that's easier to read

Keep the input text legible

Provide concise but meaningful helper text

Provide informative placeholders

I will add more description later.

Thanks you.

What exactly is a user persona?

User Persona is a hypothetical archetype of an actual user profile according to their expectations, needs, goals, and observed behavioral patterns.

Each persona represents an entire audience of users. As a UX designer, I start the design process by conducting user research, building empathy with my target users, and identifying exactly what they need from the product I’m designing. A user persona embodies everything I learn from the user research phase user needs and goals, behavior, patterns, pain points, etc.

 Why need a user persona?

To represent a group of users with similar goals and characteristics so that we can understand a large number of the user by using fewer data.

To understand the different needs and expectations of users.

Understanding user behavior and needs make it possible to define what is necessary or unnecessary for users from a user-centered point of view.

Helps to know whom you are designing for?

Helps to get to know users more closely to create a better experience.

Helps to know the user's pain points that helps to resolve the problem in the future.

Most designers work in multidisciplinary teams that have team members with varying expertise, experience, and points of view. Personas encapsulate the most critical information about users in a way that all team members and stakeholders can understand and relate to.

 Persona defining process?

Before creating the persona, I conducted user research. First, I split my ideal users into several groups and pick a person from each group as a representative of each group. And gathered sufficient quantitative and qualitative data. Then organized all of this information into a persona group that represents my ideal customers.
I have broken down the process into four simple steps, now I’m going to explain each one.

Add a header: This includes a name, image, and a quote(that summarizes what matters most to my persona regarding my product).

Add some factual details: In this step, I added a demographic profile. Demographic details are based on research and it's can be divided into four main sections (Personal background, Professional background, User environment, and Psychographics).

The personal background section includes details such as age, gender, education, Persona group, and family status.

Professional background includes details such as professional occupation, income level, and work experience.

The user environment represents the physical, social, and technological context of the user. The purpose of the section is to answer questions such as what technological devices do use, and how often they collaborate with others.

The Psychographic section is where I linked with details such as the user's attitudes, interests, motivations, and pain points. By creating a Psychographic profile I can better understand why user behaves in a certain way including why they use any product.

Add user’s end goals: The end goal is the motivating factor that inspires action and focuses on what the users want or need to accomplish when using a product.

Add scenario: The scenario is the day in the life narrative that describes how a persona would interact with a product in a particular context to achieve their end goal.

Thanks you.

Going through tough times and looking for a job? I understand your pain! Getting a job is not always easy. There are many things to consider before you make the final decision. Here’s what you need to know about preparing for an interview and how to ace the hiring process.

## Some assignments should be done before applying
If you are looking for a new job or preparing for an interview, you need to do some well before applying. The reason is that the recruiter will have to assess your skills and ability to perform the job. Several assignments should be done well before applying. So here they are-

First and foremost, you need to know about the company well. In this case, a sound idea about the company’s shape and products can be taken by visiting the website.

You need to understand well what technology or tools the company works with. Because of course, the question will be asked in the interview. If you can answer correctly, it will surely make your interview more fruitful.

You can go to the company’s profile on Linkedin and contact some of the currently working people. This way you can get a good picture of the company.

You have to read the job advertisement well before applying. Once you are done, then apply for it.

Before giving a CV, you must check whether the CV is updated or not.

## Interview preparation
Interview preparation is one of the most important steps in applying for a new job or preparing for an interview. You can ace your interview and impress your potential employer with proper preparation. Here are some of the top tips to prepare for an interview:

You need to know the basics of the company’s technology or tools. Know your job and commitments in the position you have applied for.

Be prepared in advance to inform them what approach you follow. This question is always asked, and I think it is essential.

If you apply while working for another company, then deliver a good answer for switching the job. This is a very important question that you will be asked. Remember, never say anything negative about the current company.

Make a note of some important things, revise the items well before the interview. We know many things but can’t answer without reading before the interview. Give a revision so that it does not happen. If you do not know something, tell directly that you do not know. If you forget something, tell that you knew but forgot.

At the end of the interview, everyone (yes, it’s you!) can ask questions, so try to use this opportunity. You can ask about the culture of the company, the way they operate, what they have learned by going there, their products, what kind of challenges they face, etc.

This will let them know that you are really interested in working with them. So if you don’t keep a note of what to ask them, you won’t be able to summarize those questions. I asked many questions in an interview, and it took nearly 10-30 minutes!

You must present yourself well. Pay attention to word pronunciation, sentence choice, dress, etc.

## What to do after the interview?
You can try the below-given things. I tried, and you know what? These actually work!

Try to remember what questions you have been asked. Make sure you keep notes of what you learned from the process.

Try to fix your own weakness as soon as possible. I hope the next interview will be good.

Above all, study the updated things. If you are not even asked about these things in the interview, share your views on these issues. . Hopefully, you can make a good impression.

Applying for a new job or preparing for an interview can be difficult, but it doesn’t have to be. To help you through the process, we tried to put together a list of helpful tips. Hopefully, that will help you stand out from the crowd and make your application stand out. With these tips in mind, you’ll be able to apply with confidence and land the job of your dreams!

Thanks you.
