&lt;p&gt;Code Refactoring is like Oxford Comma. Ex:- Let's eat grandma vs Let's eat, grandma. In coding, first example is doing it's intended job. But, if you revisit after few months, you would be confused. By adding a comma after eat, makes code more meaningful.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So, refactoring your code is to improve code by making small changes without altering the codes external behaviour.&lt;/p&gt;
