PowerShell is Microsoft's command-line shell and scripting language that has transformed the role of Sys Admin. It is incredibly powerful and dynamic.

PowerShell is a cross-platform task automation and configuration management framework, which consists of a command-line shell and scripting language. Unlike most of the shells, which accept and return text, PowerShell is built on top of the .NET Common Language Runtime (CLR) and accepts and returns .NET objects. This fundamental change brings entirely new tools and methods for automation.

Unlike traditional command-line interfaces, PowerShell cmdlets are designed to deal with objects. An object is a structured information that is more than just the string of characters appearing on the screen. Command output always carries extra information that you can use if you need it.

If you have used text-processing tools to process data in the past, you will find that they behave differently when used in PowerShell. In most cases, you do not need text-processing tools to extract specific information. You directly access portions of the data using standard PowerShell object syntax.

Thus, considering the widespread usage of Microsoft Powershell, it becomes essential to be thorough with the tool. Therefore, we have curated a list of Best Powershell Courses that can help you learn the tool from scratch. You will get a decent hands-on experience and become proficient if you do the courses religiously.

Disclosure: This post includes affiliate links; our team may receive compensation if you purchase products or services from the different links provided in this article.

The Arduino is an open-source computer hardware/software platform for building digital devices and interactive objects that can sense and control the physical world around them.

For many years now, people have been improving their tools, studying the forces of nature, and bringing them under control, using the energy of nature to operate their machines. The last century is noted for the creation of machines that can operate other machines. Nowadays the creation of devices that interact with the physical world is available to anyone.

One such creation is the Arduino. Using simple integrated circuit boards, users can build high-end IoT projects like smart homes, robotic arms, drones, and the likes in a matter a few hours.

Arduino is a prototype platform (open-source) based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It consists of a circuit board, which can be programed (referred to as a microcontroller) and a ready-made software called Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment), which is used to write and upload the computer code to the physical board.

The key features are −

Arduino boards can read analog or digital input signals from different sensors and turn it into an output such as activating a motor, turning LED on/off, connect to the cloud, and many other actions.

You can control your board functions by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board via Arduino IDE (referred to as uploading software).

Unlike most previous programmable circuit boards, Arduino does not need an extra piece of hardware (called a programmer) to load new code onto the board. You can simply use a USB cable.

Additionally, the Arduino IDE uses a simplified version of C++, making it easier to learn to program.

Finally, Arduino provides a standard form factor that breaks the functions of the micro-controller into a more accessible package.

Features of the Arduino UNO:

 Microcontroller: ATmega328.

 Operating Voltage: 5V.

 Input Voltage (recommended): 7-12V.

 Input Voltage (limits): 6-20V.

Digital I/O Pins: 14 (of which 6 provide PWM output)

 Analog Input Pins: 6.

DC Current per I/O Pin: 40 mA.

DC Current for 3.3V Pin: 50 mA.

Disclosure: This post includes affiliate links; our team may receive compensation if you purchase products or services from the different links provided in this article.

Flask is a Python-based micro-framework that is used to build web applications. The term 'micro-framework' signifies that it does not require any special tools or libraries. By the word micro framework, we are not limiting the abilities of Flask. Flask is equally good for larger applications as it is for smaller ones.

Components like database abstraction layer, form validation & verification, etc where a pre-existing library is required. Flask, however, supports extensions.

Extensions provide support for object-relational mapping, exception handling, and data validation.

 Salient Features of Flask

 Development server and debugger

 Integrated support for unit testing

 RESTful request dispatching

 Uses Jinja templating

Support for secure cookies (client-side sessions)

 Unicode-based

 Extensive documentation

 Google App Engine compatibility

Extensions available to enhance features desired

 Why learn Flask?

Provided the ease of usage and simplicity of understanding, Flask is undoubtedly one of the best frameworks( or Microframework).
Its simple yet elegant syntax helps you to build web-apps in less time with minimal efforts. You can also build REST APIs using this micro-framework.

However, learning Flask can be challenging provided the enormous resources present out there. People think that plenty of resources make it easier. But, it's the other way round. Opting for the best courses from a pool of thousands of courses can be a tedious task.

Disclosure: This post includes affiliate links; our team may receive compensation if you purchase products or services from the different links provided in this article.

Confused about the millions of career options available in the IT sector?

Fret not. We have got you covered.

After doing a comparative analysis, we realized that majority of students and early professionals are clueless about their career choices and decisions. They either choose something because of peer pressure or just because some acquaintance advised them to pick it.

Among the countless career opportunities that are available in the market, one lucrative and promising career choice is becoming a Scala Developer.

 Salary of a Scala Developer

On an average, a Scala developer makes around $175,500 per annum. Now, that's a significantly large amount. Scala developers mainly work with frameworks like Spark and Big-Data related technologies.

Thus, if you choose to become a Scala developer, then a stable career growth and hefty pay package will be there for you!

 Understanding Scala

Scala--Scalable Language, is a multi-paradigm modern programming language. It enables you to express complicated programming constructs easily with a simple and elegant syntax. Martin Odersky created Scala. The first version of the language was released in the year 2003.

Scala helps you to seamlessly integrate the objected-oriented programming with functional programming. Scala is a Java-based programming language. So, if you are familiar with Java (or any other object-oriented language), then learning Scala would not be difficult for you.

Some advantages of Scala are:

External Librarirs

Compile

Concise

Error-Free

Readabile

Concurrent

If you are planning to learn Scala, then you can expect a decent payout. But, finding the best resources to learn the programming language can be a challenge.

We have curated a list of best Scala courses that provide you a roadmap for building your career in the domain from scratch. You can take these courses online as per your convenience.

Disclosure: This post includes affiliate links; our team may receive compensation if you purchase products or services from the different links provided in this article.

The first move towards becoming a proficient Django Developer is to learn. Learn the programming constructs. Learning the designing aspects, development prospects, and maintenance of the developed system.

Now, there can be multiple learning methodologies that you can use. But, conventional methods can be difficult to adapt. You need to understand the practical implementation of the framework.

With the advent of digitalization, online learning has been the best alternative for conventional learning methods. Today, there are millions of resources available online that offer you a complete roadmap for learning programming from scratch.

 Why choose Django Development?

Django is an open-source Python-based web framework that follows the model-view-controller(MVC) architecture. It is a ridiculously fast, fully loaded, and reassuringly secure web framework. It was created about twelve years ago, but in April 2019 Django 2.2 was released with a whole new set of features and capabilities!

Django is an amazing framework for web developers because it provides the infrastructure required for database-driven websites that have user authentication, content administration, contact forms, file uploads, and more. Instead of creating all of these features from scratch, you can use the Django framework and utilize these components that are already built, and focus your time on developing your web app instead.

If you are going to be working with Python, especially for web applications or web design, you will want to learn the Django framework. It will save you a ton of time!

 Django Developers Remuneration

According to Indeed the average salary of a Python-Django Developer in the US is around $119,167 per year.

Decided to learn Django already? We have got you covered.

Provided the lucrative compensation this career option provides, you should consider learning Django. But the moment you plan to learn it, you are surrounded by another dilemma of where and how to start.

 Learning Django

Talking about the IT industry in specific, online learning s considered to be the best practice for education. You can, any day, resort to the heavy books. But, online resources give you a simulation of the real-world environment. Thus, making your learning more effective.

Disclosure: This post includes affiliate links; our team may receive compensation if you purchase products or services from the different links provided in this article.

GraphQL is a query language that provides an efficient, powerful, and flexible approach to developing web APIs. GraphQL has gained immense popularity in the last few years with many Fortune 500 companies using it for their product development.

GraphQL is quickly changing how Node.js developers write their APIs and backend applications. It offers a much-needed replacement to the traditional REST HTTP API.
GraphQL can be used with any client that has internet access, whether it’s a web app, mobile app, or server-side application.

Big and small companies, from Twitter and Facebook to Yelp and Twitch, are switching from frameworks like Express to GraphQL. More and more teams are choosing GraphQL instead of (or along with) REST for their web APIs. GraphQL queries give clients great flexibility in the way they request data from the server, preventing issues such as over-etching or under fetching of data, and allowing multiple resources to be retrieved in a single request.

All said and done, the fact that GraphQL is omnipresent in the modern IT landscape, cannot be ignored. If you are a Javascript buff, then you must certainly try your hands at this framework/language.

TensorFlow is an open-source software library for numerical computation using data flow graphs. Nodes in the graph represent mathematical operations, while the graph edges represent the multidimensional data arrays (tensors) communicated between them. The flexible architecture allows you to deploy computation to one or more CPUs or GPUs in a desktop, server, or mobile device with a single API. TensorFlow was originally developed by researchers and engineers working on the Google Brain Team within Google's Machine Intelligence research organization to conduct machine learning and deep neural networks research, but the system is general enough to be applicable in a wide variety of other domains as well.

It is used by major companies all over the world, including Airbnb, eBay, Dropbox, Snapchat, Twitter, Uber, SAP, Qualcomm, IBM, Intel, and of course, Google!
