What's in your bookmarks?

A rare urge to clear out my bookmarks struck me tonight; and I thought why not share some pages I clearly thought were worth remembering with the Dev.to community.

A large list of public apis: https://github.com/toddmotto/public-apis/blob/master/README.md

Now - Serverless application deployments: https://zeit.co/now

Introduction to Capture the Flag: https://trailofbits.github.io/ctf/

109 Mental Models: https://fs.blog/mental-models/

Ngrok - introspectable tunnels to localhost: https://ngrok.com

*ahem*: https://www.funkypenguin.co.nz/project/autopirate-sabnzbd-radarr-sonarr-mylar-nzbhydra-ombi-in-docker-swarm/

Care to share some long forgotten gems from your bookmarks?

MP for Folkestone & Hythe vs Facebook

I've been thinking about this today:
https://twitter.com/DamianCollins/status/1070324913058316290

Facebooks shady practices are becoming all too common for my liking. Or perhaps I'm getting jaded with businesses in general.
Leafing through these documents it's clear there's little concern for user privacy at any meaningful level.

I'd like to hear your latest opinions on Facebook and what social networks should be in this day and age.

Also, what is your opinion on the current government interest in Facebook and how (if at all) do you think governments with borders of jurisdiction should act in the age of the inter-connected world?

In the past, I had a list of good tools for saving time during hackathons.
All I can remember nowadays is Ngrok and theprogrammableweb

https://ngrok.com/
https://www.programmableweb.com/apis/directory

What are your go-to tools for hackathons?
