Hosting Multiple Subdomains Externally from Apex domain.

 The Problem

I have a domain hosted externally and I'm looking to host multiple sub domains on another system.

 Application

The application is an API written in PHP / Laravel. The backend will be hosted on a VPS / Shared hosting (depending on site usage).

 Frontend

I'm looking to then host all sub domains on an external provider be it Netlify or Vercel, perhaps heroku. This will all be written in NextJS, querying the API.

Is this possible and if there are any resources which can be shared that would be greatly appreciated.

Web Development: Where to start

Technology is an ever growing aspect of the world, there is no better time to get into web development in 2023. If I had to start again and get into web development again this is a rough idea of how I would do it.

 Where to start?

I would 100% start my web development journey at websites built with beginners in mind. Example https://w3schools.com/ is the perfect place to start your web development journey.

It offers in depth knowledge about in demand technology. Along side this I would highly recommend...

Here is the finished article - https://callummacalast.co.uk/web-development-where-to-start/

E-Commerce Build - What language/framework?

Looking for some advice on how to go about producing a bespoke E-Commerce platform.

 Background

Digital Agency looking to niche in the ecom side of things. Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce, looking to develop our own in order to achieve more customisation. We have faced difficulties using the WooCommerce ecosystem for certain integration builds so looking to expand the tech.

 What Tech?

Looking for suggestions where we can achieve small scale builds but also have the ability to scale up to integrations with external APIs for larger businesses - B2B.

 Initial Thoughts

Initially, my go to would be Laravel, as coming from a predominantly PHP focused background and knowing Laravel to some degree it makes sense. However, now seeing the sheer amount of JavaScript libraries there are I am stuck on decisions.

Any feedback or if anyone could shed a light on their own experiences would be much appreciated.

Thanks

UPDATE
I think we are going to start using Laravel to achieve the E-Commerce build. After doing some research and taking on board your guys' feedback. It seems appropriate to use this framework.

Cheers all
