Want to become an open source contributor?

Hey everyone! For anyone interested in joining a project, I am leading an open source project called Ano.js, which is a web animation library that can be integrated into websites with just two lines of code! The goal is to allow users to have web animations without coding at all. Even tools like Mo.js and Anime.js (which are amazing) require coding.

Open source contributors create their own web animations and upload them to the Ano.js database, where it will be displayed on our website. It will be labelled that you created the animation, and you will receive credit for it. You can add this as an experience to your LinkedIn, a project to your portfolio, or add it to your resume! Everything you do as a contributor is on your own time. No deadlines, no requirements, no prior knowledge required.

I am looking for more open source contributors to join us, so if you're interested, please visit https://anojs.com/join-us and enter your email and GitHub username, and you will automatically be invited to our Slack workspace and added as a collaborator to our GitHub repository.

Please DM me if you have any questions!

I'm new to blogging, and the problem I have is that I can seem to get people to read my blog posts. Creating the content is not a problem, but distributing it is really hard for me.

My target demographic for my blog is high schoolers in software engineering and entrepreneurship. I'm trying to get traction on platforms like LinkedIn, but I realized that most high school students are active on Instagram, so I'm trying to start marketing on Instagram.

I can't seem to get traction on LinkedIn or Instagram, does anyone have any advice?

New Startup Idea

So, my friend (who shall remain unnamed), has an idea and has asked me and some other high schoolers if they want to help out on it. I wanted to get some advice/opinions on what everyone else thinks of it.

I won't go too deep into the details of the startup idea but think of it as if it's an Airbnb for processing power. The idea is to open up your computer for others near you to connect to it via a P2P network and run any heavy processes they needed to run on your computer, allowing them to do other things without their computer crashing. Let me know what you think of this idea.

So, to build it he was thinking of either building it in Python, Javascript, or C++. We're probably not going to go with C++ because most of us in the group do not know C++, but let me know what you think we should build it in.

Honestly, it's not an idea I'm too crazy about, but something I'd be willing to set aside some time to work on.

Hey everyone! I'm trying to grow my personal brand as a developer and entrepreneur in my space, starting with social media.

I've given speeches and networked a little bit, but I'm trying to leverage the use of other social platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Medium, and DEV to build more connections and increase my outreach.

I'm not trying to monetize my brand or anything like that, but simply gain more outreach and put my name out there.

Does anyone have any tips or advice for me?
