Recover More SOL with Swap & Close on SOLClaimer.app

Recover More SOL with Swap & Close on SOLClaimer.app

For a long time, most tools on Solana only allowed users to burn empty token accounts to reclaim the small rent deposit.

It works… but it leaves a lot of value behind.

With the new Swap & Close feature on SOLClaimer.app, you can now automatically recover even more SOL from unused token accounts.

  🚀 How It Works

Instead of simply burning leftover tokens for a tiny rent refund, you can now:

Swap leftover tokens → SOL (powered by Jupiter routing)

Automatically close the token account after the swap

Recover both the swap value and the rent deposit

No extra steps. Just more SOL back in your wallet.

  💡 Real Example

During a recent wallet cleanup:

Swapped 0.087 USDC → SOL

Closed the token account

Recovered an additional 0.002 SOL from rent

💰 Total recovered = swap value + rent refund

Small balances spread across multiple wallets add up quickly — and most users don’t realize how much SOL is locked in unused token accounts.

  ⚡ Why This Matters

Unused token accounts quietly hold recoverable SOL through rent deposits. Traditional cleanup tools only reclaim part of that value.

Swap & Close ensures you recover everything possible:

Token value ✅

Rent deposit ✅

Minimal user effort ✅

🔥 Swap it. Close it. Recover it.

Stop leaving SOL behind.

Its listed on Phantom: https://phantom.com/apps/solclaimer

Announcing Swap & Close on SOLClaimer.app — Powered by Jupiter

For a long time, most tools only let you burn empty token accounts to reclaim the small rent deposit on Solana. That works… but it leaves a lot of value behind.

With the new Swap & Close feature on SOLClaimer.app, you can now recover even more SOL automatically.

  🚀 How it works

Instead of simply burning leftover tokens for a tiny rent refund, you can now:

✅ Swap leftover tokens → SOL (powered by Jupiter routing)

✅ Automatically close the token account after the swap

✅ Recover both the swap value and the rent deposit

That means more SOL back in your wallet with zero extra steps.

💡 Example from a recent cleanup

Swapped 0.087 USDC → SOL

Closed the token account

Recovered an additional 0.002 SOL from rent

💰 Total recovered: swap value + rent refund

  🔍 Why this matters

Small balances across multiple wallets add up quickly — and most users don’t realize how much SOL is locked in unused token accounts.

  🔥 Take action

Swap it. Close it. Recover it.

Stop leaving SOL behind.

Its an official Phantom App: https://phantom.com/apps/solclaimer

🚀 960.80 SOL Claimed in Just 90 Days — Here’s How Users Are Recovering Lost SOL on Solana

If you’ve used Solana for a while, there’s a good chance you’re sitting on lost SOL without realizing it.

Not lost as in “forgot seed phrase” — lost as in locked inside empty accounts and unused tokens that quietly drain your wallet.

Over the past 90 days alone, users have recovered 960.801011 SOL by cleaning up their wallets using claimyoursols.app.

Let’s break down what’s happening, why it works, and how you can reclaim your SOL too.

🧠 The Problem: SOL Locked in Unused Accounts

On Solana, many actions create on-chain accounts:

Token accounts

NFT-related accounts

Program-generated accounts

Even when these accounts hit zero balance, they still hold rent-exempt SOL.

That SOL stays locked unless you close or burn the account.

Multiply that by hundreds (or thousands) of accounts, and suddenly you’re leaking real value.

🔧 The Solution: Reclaim What’s Already Yours

claimyoursols.app helps you recover SOL by safely interacting with the Solana blockchain.

  What it does:

  ✅ Close zero-balance accounts

Each closed account returns approximately ~0.002 SOL back to your wallet.

  🔥 Burn unwanted tokens

Old airdrops, spam tokens, abandoned projects — burning them also unlocks ~0.002 SOL per token.

All actions are executed on-chain, and your wallet remains fully in control the entire time.

💡 Your SOL never leaves your wallet — the Solana blockchain enforces the reclaim.

📊 Real Numbers (Last 90 Days)

Total Accounts Closed:
470,980

Total SOL Recovered:
960.801011 SOL

That’s not hype — that’s on-chain activity.

🪪 How It Works (Step by Step)

Select your wallet
Connect using a standard Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.)

Scan for reclaimable accounts
The app detects zero-balance accounts and burnable tokens.

Confirm transactions
You approve everything — nothing happens without your signature.

Receive SOL instantly
Recovered SOL goes straight back into your wallet.

💸 Bonus: Earn 50% Referral Rewards

There’s also a referral program built in.

Share your unique referral link

Earn 50% bonus on each successful referral

Fully transparent tracking

👉 Click “Get Your Link” inside the app to start earning.

  🔐 Security & Transparency

✔ Non-custodial

✔ No private keys ever shared

✔ Transactions visible on Solana explorers

✔ Wallet-controlled at all times

If you trust Solana programs, you already trust this process.

  🧹 Final Thoughts

Wallet hygiene matters.

If you’ve been:

Minting NFTs

Farming airdrops

Testing dApps

Trading SPL tokens

…you almost certainly have reclaimable SOL waiting.

Check once. Recover forever.

What's SOLClaimer.app?

🚀 Claim Free SOL + Create SPL/SPL22 Tokens With SOLClaimer.app

If you’ve ever interacted with Solana for a while, there’s a good chance you’ve left some SOL locked for rent in old accounts. Most users don’t even realize this balance can be reclaimed.

That’s exactly what SOLClaimer.app helps you do — safely, quickly, and with zero hassle.

  ✅ What Is SOLClaimer.app?

SOLClaimer.app scans your wallet for rent-exempt SOL that can be withdrawn from closed or unused accounts.
No scripts. No terminals. Just connect, check, and claim.

It also includes tools to:

✅ Create SPL & SPL22 tokens

✅ Mint tokens instantly

✅ Run community airdrops

✅ Adjust supply or metadata

✅ Manage everything in a clean UI

It’s built to feel simple and human — not like a bot or a dev console.

  🔥 Powered by claimyoursols.app

SOLClaimer runs on the same engine behind claimyoursols.app, which has already:

Closed 89k+ accounts

Recovered 184 SOL

Proof
https://solscan.io/account/GzZ5vVT2awie1LkgFXiMFGqfA7YtzKUFAvK14v8cazGk?cluster=tx

  🪙 Why It Matters

Solana’s rent-exemption system leaves a lot of tiny, forgotten accounts. Over time, these balances add up.

With SOLClaimer.app, you can:

Reclaim SOL that’s already yours

Clean up old accounts

Save time over CLI/manual methods

Launch tokens without deep technical knowledge

It’s one of the most practical Solana tools out there.

  🚀 Try It Now

Check how much SOL you can reclaim and start creating/minting tokens today:

👉 SOLClaimer.app

🚀 My Solana Account Cleanup Tool: 200+ Accounts Closed Today!

I built a tool to help clean up unused Solana accounts, and today we hit a milestone: over 200 unused accounts closed with 0.48 SOL total volume reclaimed!

  Why This Matters

Get Your SOL Back: Reclaim locked funds from unused token accounts

Network Optimization: Reduce blockchain state bloat

Better Performance: Help validators run more efficiently

  How It Works

Visit claimyoursols.app:

Connect your wallet

Scan for closeable accounts

Close unused accounts (empty accounts, unwanted tokens, test tokens you created)

Reclaim your locked SOL

What you can close:

Empty token accounts

Tokens you no longer need

Test tokens you created during development

Unwanted airdropped tokens

  For Developers

// Account closure process
const closeInstruction = createCloseAccountInstruction(
  accountToClose,
  destination,
  owner
);

  Open Source

The entire project is open source at github.com/dawar2151/claimyoursols.app - full transparency and community contributions welcome. You can audit the code, submit improvements, and verify exactly what it does before connecting your wallet.

⭐ If you try it or like the project, please star it on GitHub! ⭐

  Join the Movement

Clean up your unused accounts

Help optimize the Solana network

Reclaim your locked SOL

Let's keep the momentum going! 🌟

Solana Hold Your Funds, Redeem Them Now?

As a developer coming from the Ethereum blockchain, where I've built numerous apps, one key difference I noticed is that Ethereum accounts do not require specific storage for tokens. Your wallet address handles everything native ETH, ERC20 tokens, and NFTs. However, after diving into Solana development for nearly two years, I’ve discovered something unique and worth discussing: rent on Solana. What is it, and can you get it back? Let's explain it in simple terms.

  Tokens on Ethereum vs. Solana

On Ethereum, the ecosystem revolves around three main types of tokens:

Native ETH: Used to pay for gas and governance.

ERC20: Fungible tokens for projects like stablecoins or utility tokens.

NFTs: Unique, non-fungible tokens for digital collectibles or assets.

When you create an Ethereum wallet, you get a single address that can receive all types of tokens directly—no extra setup needed.

Solana, however, works differently. It also has three main token types:

SOL: The native token for transaction fees and governance.

SPL Tokens: Solana’s equivalent to ERC20, used for fungible tokens.

SPL Token-2022: An advanced version of SPL tokens with extra features like:

Metadata extensions: Add details like token name or description.

Transfer hooks: Custom logic for token transfers (e.g., restricting transfers).

Unlike Ethereum, Solana requires you to create a specific account to hold tokens, called an Associated Token Account (ATA).

What’s an ATA and Why Does It Matter?

In Solana, when you want to receive an SPL token, you can’t just use your wallet’s public key like on Ethereum. Instead, you need an Associated Token Account (ATA), which is a special account derived from:

Your wallet’s public key.

The token’s mint address (the unique identifier for that token).

To create an ATA, you must deposit a small amount of SOL (typically ~0.002 SOL) to “reserve” storage space on the Solana blockchain. This SOL is essentially a rent-like fee to maintain the account. Without an ATA, you can’t hold or receive SPL tokens.

For example, if you want to receive a specific token (say, a stablecoin on Solana), you’ll need to:

Create an ATA for that token.

Deposit a small amount of SOL to cover the rent.

This SOL is locked in the ATA as long as the account exists.

The Rent Concept: What’s Locked and Why?

On Solana, all data is stored in accounts, and each account requires a minimum balance of SOL (in lamports, where 1 SOL = 1 billion lamports) proportional to the amount of data it stores. This balance is called rent, but it’s more like a refundable deposit—it’s not spent or burned, just held by the Solana blockchain to maintain the account’s storage. This ensures efficient resource management on the network. For more details on how rent is calculated, check out the official Solana documentation on rent.

The good news? You can reclaim this SOL when you no longer need the account.

  How to Reclaim Your SOL

Once you’re done using a specific token (e.g., you’ve transferred all the tokens out of the ATA), you can close the account and recover the locked SOL. Here are three ways to do it:

Using the Solana CLI:
Run this command to close an ATA and reclaim the SOL:

solana account --close <ATA_ADDRESS> --recipient <YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS>
This sends the locked SOL back to your wallet.

Using Web3.js:

If you prefer coding, you can use Solana’s Web3.js library to close an ATA programmatically. Here’s an example:

   import { closeAccount } from '@solana/web3.js';
   import { Connection, PublicKey, Keypair } from '@solana/web3.js';

   const connection = new Connection('https://api.mainnet-beta.solana.com');
   const payer = Keypair.fromSecretKey(/* your secret key */);
   const accountToClose = new PublicKey('/* ATA address */');
   const destination = new PublicKey('/* your wallet address */');

   const transaction = await closeAccount(
     connection,
     payer, // Your keypair
     accountToClose, // ATA public key
destination, // Your wallet public key
payer // Authority (usually the payer)
   );

Using a Web3 Tool:
For a user-friendly option, visit a trusted service like Claim Your SOLs. This tool will scan all your open accounts and give you the ability to close them, returning your locked SOL.

  Why This Matters?

Understanding Solana’s rent system and ATAs is crucial for developers building on the platform. Here are some key takeaways:

Cost Management: Creating ATAs requires SOL, so factor this into your app’s user experience. You might need to guide users to deposit SOL or automate ATA creation in your dApp.

User Experience: Solana users may be surprised they can’t receive tokens without an ATA. Educate them or handle ATA creation seamlessly in your app.

Reclaiming Funds: Closing unused ATAs can save users small amounts of SOL, which adds up, especially for apps with frequent token interactions.

  Final Thoughts

Solana’s rent system and ATAs make its token management unique compared to Ethereum. While it might seem like extra work to create and close ATAs, it’s a small price to pay for Solana’s high-speed, low-cost transactions. Plus, the ability to reclaim locked SOL ensures you’re not losing funds unnecessarily.

If you’re building on Solana, embrace the ATA system and explore tools to simplify the process. Have you encountered Solana’s rent system in your projects? Share your thoughts or tips in the comments!

To understand the importance of Bitcoin, we need to go back to the period after World War II, when the Allied nations came together to rebuild the global financial system.

  The Bretton Woods Agreement (1944)

In July 1944, representatives from 44 allied nations met in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, to design a new framework for international trade and monetary stability.

Two competing proposals emerged:

  🇬🇧 United Kingdom (Keynes Plan)

Create a new international currency called the Bancor, not tied to any single nation.

Establish an International Clearing Union (ICU) to manage trade balances.

Require both debtor and creditor nations to adjust trade imbalances.

Allow more flexible exchange rates to avoid deflationary pressures.

  🇺🇸 United States (White Plan)

Create a system of fixed exchange rates tied to the U.S. dollar, convertible to gold at $35 per ounce.

Establish the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to help countries with short-term balance-of-payments issues.

Establish the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) — later part of the World Bank — to finance post-war rebuilding.

Make the U.S. dollar the central reserve currency.

The U.S. proposal prevailed — largely because America held about 50% of the world’s gold reserves at the time.
This meant the dollar was backed by gold, and all other major currencies were pegged to the dollar at fixed rates.

The Collapse of the Gold Standard

This system brought stability for decades… until 1971.

That year, U.S. President Richard Nixon ended the dollar’s convertibility to gold — effectively ending the gold standard.

From that moment:

All major currencies became fiat money (not backed by a physical asset).

Inflation rose.

Monetary policy became increasingly centralized.

In the years that followed, concerns about centralized monetary control, inflation, and financial surveillance continued to grow.

  Pre-Bitcoin Attempts at Digital Money

Before Bitcoin, several digital currency projects tried to create alternatives to government-issued money:

Name

Year

Description

Reason for Failure

E-gold

1996

Gold-backed digital currency

Shut down (2009): legal issues

Liberty Reserve

2006

Anonymous USD/EUR transfers

Shut down (2013): money laundering

DigiCash

1989

Privacy-focused digital cash

Bankrupt (1998): no adoption

GoldMoney (P2P)

2001

Gold as digital money

P2P disabled: regulation

All these systems were centralized and therefore vulnerable to government shutdowns or regulatory crackdowns.

  The Birth of Bitcoin (2009)

In 2009, an anonymous figure known as Satoshi Nakamoto introduced Bitcoin — the first truly decentralized digital currency.

Unlike earlier attempts, Bitcoin:

Is not controlled by any government or corporation.

Operates on a transparent, public blockchain.

Is borderless, censorship-resistant, and has a limited supply.

Bitcoin was designed as an alternative to inflationary, centralized fiat money — offering a trustless, peer-to-peer financial system.

  Follow My Blockchain Journey

I build secure tools to make blockchain simpler and safer.

How do some dApps pretend to have verified contracts when they don't?

Recently, I started interacting with many DApps for DeFi, airdrops, or NFT exchanges. I noticed that most of the time, DApps are marked as "contract verified", but in many cases, only the proxy contract is verified—not the implementation.

What does that actually mean? And is the contract truly verified in such cases?

Let’s break it down below.

let's start with some context:

The concept of upgradable smart contracts on Ethereum began emerging around 2017, with more formal and secure patterns being adopted by 2018.

Many decentralized applications (DApps) started using this pattern to prevent and mitigate vulnerabilities that could appear in the future.

  What Are Upgradable Smart Contracts?

Upgradable smart contracts follow a simple architecture:

A proxy contract holds the data (storage)

An implementation contract contains the business logic

When you deploy the proxy, it stays fixed. However, you can upgrade the implementation contract at any time—without changing the proxy address or notifying users. This makes upgrades seamless, but also potentially dangerous: a malicious owner could swap in harmful logic without anyone noticing.

As shown above, users always interact with the proxy. This proxy stores both the data and the reference to the implementation address.

The issue is: most users only check if the proxy is verified, and ignore the implementation. This gives a false sense of security, as the real logic could be unverified or even malicious.

  Real-World Examples

I checked several popular token tools. Most of them only verify the proxy but not the implementation contract.

  BulkSender.app

The proxy contract is verified, but the implementation is not:

  CryptoSender.com

Same story: the proxy is verified, the implementation is not.

  BulkSendTokens.xyz

✅ In this case, both the proxy and implementation are verified, which is how it should be:

  Why This Matters

When the implementation contract is unverified, users can't see what logic is being executed. That means:

Hidden service fees could be added

Backdoors might exist

Logic could be changed at any time

If both contracts are verified, everything becomes transparent: you can inspect the code, see the upgrade logic, and ensure there's no malicious behavior.

  ✅ Stay Safe

Always check both proxy and implementation contracts are verified

Don’t trust a verified proxy alone—it holds no logic

Be cautious with tools that don’t verify everything

  SPL22: Solana’s Game-Changing Token Standard Made Simple

If you’ve been exploring blockchain or dabbling in DeFi, you’ve likely heard of ERC20, Ethereum’s go-to standard for creating tokens. It’s the backbone of countless digital assets, from stablecoins to meme coins, powering seamless trading across wallets and platforms. But as fast and affordable as Solana is, its token standard—SPL—hasn’t quite kept up with Ethereum’s flexibility. That’s where SPL22 comes in, blending Solana’s blazing speed with the programmability developers crave.

Let’s break it down, compare the standards, and explore why SPL22 is a big deal for Solana’s future.

  ERC20 vs. SPL: The Basics

  ERC20: Ethereum’s Token Workhorse

ERC20 is like the Swiss Army knife of Ethereum tokens. It defines a standard set of rules so tokens can work smoothly with wallets, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and smart contracts. Key features include:

Core functions:
transfer
,
approve
, and
transferFrom
for moving tokens and delegating spending rights.

Interoperability: Wallets and apps know exactly how to handle ERC20 tokens.

Flexibility: Supports complex DeFi setups like lending or staking.

Downsides:

Clunky user experience (e.g., needing separate approvals before transfers).

No built-in metadata (like token name or symbol) on-chain.

Custom tweaks can break compatibility with standard tools.

SPL: Solana’s Speedy but Limited Standard

Solana’s SPL (Solana Program Library) token standard is built for speed, tailored to Solana’s unique account-based system. Instead of storing balances in smart contracts like Ethereum, SPL uses associated token accounts tied to your wallet.

What it does well:

Fast and cheap transactions.

Simple token creation and transfers.

Where it falls short:

No native support for delegated transfers (like ERC20’s
transferFrom
).

Every transaction needs the user’s signature, limiting automation.

Lacks hooks for advanced logic, forcing developers to write custom (and often brittle) workarounds.

Wallets like Phantom or Solflare don’t offer programmable control.

This rigidity has held back Solana developers from building the kind of sophisticated DeFi apps you see on Ethereum.

Enter SPL22: Solana’s Token Standard on Steroids

SPL22 is Solana’s answer to these limitations. It’s like ERC20 got a turbocharged upgrade, combining Solana’s high performance with the flexibility of programmable tokens. Here’s what makes it exciting:

  💡 Key Features of SPL22

Transfer Hooks

SPL22 lets developers add custom logic to token transfers. Want to charge a small fee, reward users, or trigger staking? Transfer hooks make it happen, similar to Ethereum’s ERC777 or ERC1363 standards.

Third-Party Control

With user approval, dApps can initiate transfers on your behalf. This unlocks cool features like gasless transactions, recurring subscriptions, or in-game purchases without constant wallet prompts.

Scalable Design

Instead of forcing developers to write custom token programs, SPL22 uses standardized hooks. This simplifies complex DeFi logic while keeping things fast and efficient.

Backward Compatibility

SPL22 plays nice with existing SPL tokens, so projects can upgrade gradually without breaking their ecosystems.

  🚀 Why SPL22 Matters

Solana’s known for its lightning-fast transactions and low fees, but speed alone isn’t enough for the next wave of DeFi, gaming, or enterprise apps. SPL22 brings the missing piece: programmability. It enables:

Seamless DeFi: Build protocols with native support for staking, lending, or automated fees.

Better Wallet Integration: Wallets and dApps can interact with tokens more intuitively.

Enterprise Use Cases: Create tokens with built-in compliance rules or governance features.

Imagine launching a DAO with built-in voting rewards, creating a game with a gasless token economy, or airdropping tokens with custom rules—all natively on Solana.

🛠️ How to Get Started with SPL22

Tokens with Transfer Taxes: Perfect for community-driven projects or charity tokens.

Loyalty Systems: Reward users automatically with each transaction.

Gaming Economies: Enable seamless, gasless in-game purchases.

🌟 Why This Is a Big Deal

SPL laid the groundwork for tokens on Solana, but SPL22 takes it to the next level. Just as ERC20 sparked Ethereum’s DeFi revolution, SPL22 could unleash a new era of innovation on Solana. From DeFi powerhouses to tokenized games and enterprise solutions, programmable tokens are the key to unlocking Solana’s full potential.

So, what are you waiting for? Start exploring SPL22 and build something amazing!

🛡️ How I Resolved the “Malicious App” Warning on Phantom Wallet Extension

If you're building a dApp or browser extension that interacts with the Phantom Wallet, and you've seen your app flagged as malicious, you’re not alone. i got the same on my token manager Dapp Solana token manager

I recently ran into this issue, and after some debugging and a successful resolution, I thought I’d share my experience. If you're seeing similar warnings and want to remove the "malicious app" label, here's how to go about it.

🚨 The Problem: "Malicious App" Warning

Phantom Wallet sometimes flags apps or extensions that interact with wallets in an unsafe or suspicious way. This can happen if:

You manually sign and send transactions using raw methods.

You bypass Phantom's secure APIs.

Your code behaves like a phishing attack (even if unintentionally).

This results in a scary warning for users, which harms trust and adoption.

  ✅ The Fix: Use
signAndSendTransaction

The key is to use Phantom’s secure APIs correctly. Specifically, instead of signing and sending transactions manually like this:

const signedTransaction = await signTransaction(transaction);
const txId = await connection.sendRawTransaction(signedTransaction.serialize());
await connection.confirmTransaction(txId, 'confirmed');

Switch to Phantom’s recommended helper method:

const provider = getProvider();
  const { signature } = await provider.signAndSendTransaction(transaction);
  await connection.getSignatureStatus(signature);

🔒 Why this works
Phantom can detect when your app uses its secure, native API (signAndSendTransaction) which maintains the right security and UX expectations for users. Using raw signing and serialization steps may look like spoofing to the wallet, even if your code is safe.

📧 Still Flagged? Request a Manual Review
If you've already made the switch but the warning persists, you can request a manual review from the Phantom team:

✉️ Email: review@phantom.com
📄 Include details like:

Your project name

GitHub or website URL

Code snippets showing secure API usage

✅ Checklist to Avoid Being Flagged

Use signAndSendTransaction instead of raw signing/sending.

Avoid modifying the transaction structure after signing.

Do not inject hidden fields or overwrite wallet methods.

Don’t request excessive permissions.

Make your code open-source if possible (helps with review).
