Hey all - If you been around for a long time, you might know about an old, simple tool called Keyword Sh*tter.

It's a free tool that helps you find long-tail keywords.

It works by looking at the suggestions that pop up when you start typing in the Google search bar.

I used to use it a lot, and I needed it again yesterday to find some basic search ideas for a new YouTube channel I'm starting.

When I saw the old versions of the tool online, I thought, "I bet I could build a much better version using Google AI Studio"

And I did! I now have a new, modern version of that old free tool, and it actually has more cool features:

⚡ Keyword Sheeter - %100 Free / No Registration

The Ultimate 100% Free Long-Tail Keyword Research Tool

Keyword Sheeter V3 is a powerful, client-side web application that automates Google Autocomplete scraping to generate thousands of long-tail keywords, analyze SERP trends, and discover content gaps.

It is designed as a free alternative to tools like Ahrefs or SEMRush for basic keyword discovery, leveraging real-time data from Google, YouTube, Bing, and Wikipedia.

My Experience Building It
The main part of the project took me about 5 hours to build. (This doesn't count the extra time I spent cleaning up the code and making the website look nice.)

System built about 70% of the project in one big go. But that was just the start. You still need to put in your own work to finish the project exactly how you want it.

If you want to put the code on GitHub and make it live on the internet using Netlify, you need to know the basics of web coding.

The AI often writes entire code files again every time you ask it to change something. To keep things fast, make sure you break your code into smaller, logical files.

AI Studio is still not good at making the netlify.toml file (which helps Netlify publish the code). I had to fix this file manually on GitHub after every update.

The brainstorming feature in Google AI Studio is fantastic! It really helped me come up with ideas for features that were beyond what I originally planned.

🔗 Live Demo: https://keywordsheeter.xyz

🚀 Key Features
🔍 Advanced Scraping Engine
Wildcard Support: Place an asterisk (*) anywhere in your query (e.g., best * for dogs) to find middle-tail keywords.

Recursive Mode (Deep Search): Automatically takes found keywords and uses them as new seeds to dig deeper, finding 10,000+ keywords in a single session.

Multi-Source: Scrape suggestions from Google, YouTube, Bing, and Wikipedia.

Scan Modes: Supports Suffix (keyword a...), Prefix (...a keyword), and Both.

🧠 Market Intelligence (No AI Required)
SERP DNA: Analyzes live search results to detect "Easy Win" opportunities (e.g., Reddit/Quora threads ranking in top positions).

Trend Velocity: Determines if a topic is 🔥 Trending or 🌲 Evergreen by analyzing news publication dates.

LSI Keyword Extraction: Scrapes top-ranking titles to find semantically related keywords and context terms.

📊 Data Analysis & Management
Intent Detection: Automatically classifies keywords as Informational, Commercial, Transactional, or Navigational.

N-Gram Analysis: Visualizes the most common phrases and topics in a word cloud / tree map.

Project Management: Save your entire research session (keywords, history, settings) to a JSON file and load it later.

Advanced Export: Download as CSV, copy as Hashtags, or generate "Negative Keyword Lists" for PPC.

🌍 Global Support
30+ Languages: Fully localized interface and scraping rules for English, Spanish, French, German, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Arabic, and many more.

Region Specific: Supports localized scraping for over 40 countries.
