I built a client portal for freelancers because email chaos was killing my projects

I'm a freelancer myself and the same problem kept coming up with every client...

Big companies have Jira, Asana, all that. But photographers, designers, small independents? Nothing that's actually made for them — everything is either too complex or too expensive.

So I built projektraum.io — a simple client portal tool made for freelancers like us.

 What it does

You create a portal for each client, share a link (no account needed on their side), and they get:

A task board showing project progress

File sharing — upload and download directly in the portal

A direct chat — no more email back and forth

Their own branded view with your logo and colors (Pro)

 Tech stack

Next.js 14 (App Router)

Supabase (Auth, DB, Realtime, Storage)

Stripe (Billing)

Resend (Email notifications)

Coolify on Hetzner 🇩🇪 (Self-hosted, fully GDPR compliant)

 Pricing

Free: 1 portal

Pro: €19/mo, unlimited portals + branding

 What's next

Looking for honest feedback — especially from freelancers. What's missing? What would make this actually useful for your workflow?

Check it out: projektraum.io
