Version Control Systems (VCS) play a crucial role in managing software development projects efficiently. In this presentation, I explore two widely used version control tools: Subversion (SVN) and Mercurial.

This presentation covers:
✅ Features of SVN & Mercurial
✅ Installation process for both tools
✅ Use cases and practical applicationshttps://github.com/anshimehta01/DevopsPresentation/blob/main/DevopsPresentation.pptx

Click on the above link to View my Presenation
Your Thoughts?
Have you worked with SVN or Mercurial? Which one do you prefer and why? Let’s discuss in the comments! 🚀

 Achievements of 2024

Developed the Dayify app using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This app effectively manages daily tasks and schedules.
Gained expertise in designing by creating multiple posters while working in a design team.
Learned Microsoft Excel, mastering its formulas and functions.
Acquired foundational knowledge of AWS Cloud and explored various services through hands-on experience.

 Lessons Learned

Realized that practical application is essential to truly understand and master any concept.
Understood the importance of staying updated with in-demand skills to grow and excel in the ever-changing tech landscape.

 Challenges Faced

Struggled initially with practical application, but discovered that consistent practice leads to proficiency and confidence.
Faced difficulties with time management, which inspired the creation of the Dayify app, a solution that helped me organize my tasks effectively.

 Looking Forward to 2025

My newfound knowledge of Microsoft Excel will complement my existing SQL skills, enabling me to work more efficiently with databases.
In 2025, I plan to dive deeper into data analysis, combining these skills to achieve expertise in this field.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - December Edition, Glam Up My Markup: Winter Solstice

 What I Built

I created an interactive Christmas tree decoration page using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The tree is the centerpiece, and users can decorate it with colorful balls that "magically" appear, inspired by Santa granting special powers to bring the tree to life. My goal was to create a playful and festive experience for users, using only front-end technologies.

 Demo

Check out the live demo here: Christmas-Decoration

 Journey

This project was a fun dive into CSS animations, JavaScript interactivity, and holiday cheer. My biggest challenge was creating a smooth drag-and-drop feature for decorating the tree. I solved this by learning how to use event listeners effectively in JavaScript.

I’m proud of the festive design and the magical touch of Santa’s involvement in the story. Next, I’d like to add sound effects and more decorations like stars and candy canes.
