Meme Monday!
Today's cover image comes from last week's thread.

Personally, I have seen like a decent amount of job openings of people wanting developers or Replit specialist, because they are experiencing troubles and need someone to fix it... the sad part is that it seems like many aren't willing to pay too much for it... I think I have seen a couple like $150.00 - $250.00... no way, hahaha
Probably using the same ChatGPT account lol 😂
The probably share the same ChatGPT account. 🤷♂️
This week's comiCSS:
My sideproject dev.to/pengeszikra/javascript-grea... contain a JS only-one-function-framework + vite setup for JSX.
So my result is keep smiling and ride up to a flow.
That is lead me to switch my IT project to a real life buy & rebuild a +100 years old mud house.
My quote: simple as possible.
Then say it this will faster than others.
lol
Sorry! I didn't get it.
It's not a good joke to begin with. Recently, a US restaurant chain (Cracker Barrel) changed their logo creating some controversy (mainly among some political pundits). This is a version of that new logo. It's a bad joke that doesn't make sense outside of the US now, and even in the US, it won't make sense in a few weeks (as Cracker Barrel already announced they are going back to the old logo).
Let's hope the gods of image compression allow this image to still be readable
...Huh?
Ok, so TL;DR, Nvida is the only real winner? Right?
AI Comedy thunderdome chatgpt vs gemini based on this week's cover image joke
Gemini:
Chatgpt:
I think I have to give this one to Gemini
(Weirdly similar joke — the prompt was very broad/generic)
You're absolutely right...
Yep.

Simple:
Try-catch basically gives you two options:
Sometimes you can get a nice balance, but the point is that it shouldn't need to take extra steps to get detailed and actionable error information in a programming language.
The second one is what I do when coding in C.
+1 for writing code that won't even parse
Gotta love people starting off with a variant of "actually it's simple" - be it about politics, economics, world events or programming, grab your popcorn because they're about to make a fool of themselves.
Now also with ChatGPT Branching 😅
So true though
Haha ..
me using the same DB in dev, preview, and prod "Huh?"
Haha
A special comiCSS from last week:
This comic uses the
random()
CSS function to scramble the panels in a aleatory way. Unfortunately, it only works on Safari Technology Preview at the moment. But if you have a browser that supportsrandom()
, you can check the comic here (refresh the page to see the panels shift)Of that 40% debugging, 30 is only necessary because of the missing "20% thinking"
why tf is this so trueeeeee 😭😭😭
We all know that they're gonna get us with the cookies too ;)

If data is completly missing that is fine. If user hold something than is also good to send without validation.
Simple:
Only 69 type errors, unless you just overuse
any
